    Abstract: A screwdriver handle includes a first handle part and a second handle part. A first pivotal coupling portion is formed on an end face of the first handle part and includes two receptacles each receiving a positioning member. The second handle part includes an end face with a second pivotal coupling portion pivotally engaged with the first pivotal coupling portion. A positioning hole extends from a wall of the second pivotal coupling portion. One of the positioning members is biased into a retaining section of the positioning hole to position the second handle part. A control member is mounted in the positioning hole and movable to urge the positioning member in the receptacle aligned with the positioning hole into the receptacle, allowing the screwdriver handle to be switchable between an in-line state and an angled-state.

The peripheral wall portion firther includes six concave outer faces on an outer periphery thereof and respectively opposite to the inner faces. A convex gripping portion is formed between a pair of concave outer faces adjacent to each other. The concave outer faces and the convex gripping portions form a non-smooth outer periphery of the peripheral wall portion to allow firm grip by a user.

    Abstract: A method for manufacturing a wrench handle includes preheating a work piece made of metal, with a layer of carbon scale being generated on the work piece during preheating. The preheated work piece is forged/pressed to form a wrench handle, with the carbon scale on the work piece being forged into upper and lower faces of the wrench handle. An indentation is formed on each of the upper and lower faces of the wrench handle. The carbon scale is then removed, leaving pits in the upper and lower faces of the wrench handle, with the pits concealed by the indentation sections.

When a rotational force applied to the casing is smaller than an engaging force between the casing and the elastic element, the rod turns together with the casing for tightening the fastener. When the rotational force applied to the casing is greater than the engaging force between the casing and the elastic element, the casing slides relative to the rod without turning the fastener. The adjusting member is adjustable in position relative to the casing to thereby change the engaging force between the casing and the elastic element.

The switching member is operatively connected to the pawl to move the pawl for changing a driving rotating direction of the reversible ratchet wrench when the reversing plate is moved between two positions corresponding to two opposite driving rotating directions.

The engaging portion of each socket includes a recessed portion having a plurality of annularly spaced grooves. Each groove has two inclined faces to allow easy removal of the socket.
