  • Publication number: 20190058682
Abstract: System and methods for facilitating interactive panel discussions online are described. In an embodiment, a networked computing platform allows users to set up interactive communications sessions as public, private, or panel discussions. In an interactive panel discussion, invited participants are able to post information such as messages, images, video, etc. Users that are not invited participants in the panel discussion can view the panel discussion and, in some situations, may be provided mechanisms for limited interaction, for example through limited reactions to panel conversation posts.

Abstract: A burner body includes a wall that defines a combustible-gas chamber. The burner body further includes gas-flow inlet communicating with the combustible-gas chamber and a plurality of burner ports that permit combustible gas to flow from the chamber to an exterior of the burner body. The burner body further includes one or more flow restrictions configured to restrict flow through a proportion of the burner ports. When combustible gas is supplied at a first flow rate, each flow restriction is configured to restrict flow through an associated burner port at a first restriction ratio. When combustible gas is supplied at a second flow rate that is smaller than the first flow rate, each flow restriction is configured to restrict flow through its associated burner port at a second restriction ratio that is less than the first restriction ratio.

  • Patent number: 10154492
Abstract: A method for allocating bandwidth to communication according to a first communication protocol, the method comprising identifying bandwidth that is allocated to a communication channel for communication according to a second communication protocol and which forms a guard band of the communication channel and allocating the identified bandwidth to communication according to the first communication protocol, said allocation being performed non-uniformly across the identified bandwidth such that an allocation of a first portion of the identified bandwidth, which is located closer to a communication according to the second communication protocol than a second portion of the identified bandwidth, is constrained to a greater extent than an allocation of the second portion of the identified bandwidth.

  • Patent number: 10089525
Abstract: A system and method for determining whether an eye image includes a left eye or a right eye image is described. After obtaining an eye image, the centers of the iris and pupil in the eye image are located. A horizontal displacement between the centers of the iris and pupil is determined. In addition, neural network classifiers are used to perform eye corner detection to identify inner and outer eye corners in the image. A determination is made as to whether the eye image includes a left eye image or a right eye image based on the detected eye corners and horizontal displacement.

  • Patent number: 10072913
Abstract: A system and method for arrow fletching by bonding vanes to a vinyl wrap allows for efficient, accurate fletching of arrows. The vanes are placed into a number of slits positioned on a jig plate. The jig plate in a holder is placed into a heat press, thereby bonding the vanes to the vinyl wrapping and creating a fletched arrow wrap. Once the fletched arrow wraps are cooled they are placed in a fletching jig, with an adhesive coating on the backside of the wrap exposed by removing a paper backing. The shaft of each arrow is rolled over the adhesive coating such that the wrap becomes affixed to the shaft of the arrow, thereby fletching the shaft.

  • Publication number: 20180248680
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of wireless communications technologies. In a receiving device, a receiving module receives a synchronization signal including a first signal and a second signal. The first signal includes N1 generalized ZC sequences, and the second signal includes N2 generalized ZC sequences. The second signal is used to distinguish different cells or different cell groups. There are at least two generalized ZC sequences with different root indexes in (N1+N2) generalized ZC sequences. A processing module performs a first sliding correlation operation and a second sliding correlation operation on the synchronization signal, and performs symbol timing synchronization according to a relationship between a sliding correlation peak generated when a sliding correlation is performed on the N1 generalized ZC sequences and a sliding correlation peak generated when a sliding correlation is performed on the N2 generalized ZC sequences.
