  • Publication number: 20160290658
Abstract: Provided is a door for a cooking appliance, such as an oven range, with multiple spaced apart glass panels. An interlocking mechanism promotes a proper installation of the glass panels, and interferes with the installation of the glass panels or with operation of the appliance if at least one of the panels is not properly installed. A switch with a plunger can be installed in the door, which allows the appliance to operate only when a failsafe electrical circuit is closed corresponding to a selected position of the plunger when the door is closed. The plunger is prevented from retaining that selected position if at least one of the glass panels is improperly installed or if a top cap is not properly seated or installed above the glass panels.

  • Patent number: 9426824
Abstract: Access control information is received from a first network, which is the device's serving network (500). The received access control information is stored as access control settings (505). A first connection is established via the serving network based on one or more of the access control settings (510). It is determined that the device's serving network has changed to a second network (515). At least a portion of the access control settings is replaced with default access control settings (520). The access control settings may comprise one or more packet-domain settings and one or more circuit-domain settings. The access control information may comprise Domain Specific Access Control (DSAC) and/or Paying Permission with Access Control (PPAC) information. The default access control settings may comprise access class barring (ACB) information.

  • Publication number: 20160198471
Abstract: A method for allocating bandwidth to communication according to a first communication protocol, the method comprising identifying bandwidth that is allocated to a communication channel for communication according to a second communication protocol and which forms a guard band of the communication channel and allocating the identified bandwidth to communication according to the first communication protocol, said allocation being performed non-uniformly across the identified bandwidth such that an allocation of a first portion of the identified bandwidth, which is located closer to a communication according to the second communication protocol than a second portion of the identified bandwidth, is constrained to a greater extent than an allocation of the second portion of the identified bandwidth.

  • Publication number: 20160196475
Abstract: Methods, systems, and computer-readable storage mediums for detecting facial liveliness are provided. Implementations include actions of processing a facial image of a subject to determine a corneal reflection of an illuminator adjacent to the subject, the facial image being captured at a time point, determining an expected corneal reflection of the illuminator based on an illumination of the illuminator at the time point, comparing the determined corneal reflection of the illuminator to the expected corneal reflection of the illuminator to obtain a comparison result, and determining facial liveliness of the subject based on the comparison result.
