  • Publication number: 20240333202
Abstract: Disclosed are novel forms of operable and fixed windows capable of at least one or more of: producing an electrical current utilizing a transparent or semi-transparent solar collecting coating or film on a pane, and selectively changing one or more of opacity and tint of one or more electrochromatic layers in the window. Some embodiments disclose a scaffold assembly to enclose the perimeter of the substrate and one or more transparent solar cells or electrochromatic layers, or transparent solar cells and electrochromatic layers. Various structural and electrical configurations are disclosed satisfying kinematic demands of operable windows. Wired and wireless configurations of the windows are contemplated as are self-powered versions whereby the transparent solar collector or wireless power powers electrochromatic functions. • Patent number: 12106023
Abstract: A method for modeling a new design for electromagnetic effects includes identifying, with a model based system engineering tool, an area of interest in the new design where a lightning strike may occur. The new design includes structural features and electromagnetic features. The method further includes generating, with an electromagnetic effects solver tool and a structural solver tool, a design model for the area of interest in the new design, extracting design parameters from the design model, and generating a reduced order model by processing the design parameters, test results, and simulation results with a modeling tool. The reduced order model couples the structural features with the electromagnetic features. The test results are determined by tests of known designs. The simulation results are determined by simulations of known models. The method further includes storing the reduced order model in a storage medium that is readable by a statistical modeling tool.

  • Publication number: 20240305558
Abstract: Systems and method for routing data packets in ring network. A data packet being transmitted to a destination node may be received by a first structure at a first node. The first node may determine a number of hops the data packet will traverse as it is transmitted from the first node to the destination node and compare the determined number of hops to a threshold hop value to determine whether the number of hops is equal to or less than the threshold hop value. If the number of hops is greater than the threshold, the data packet may be transmitted to a dimension queuing structure for a first virtual channel within a second node, otherwise, the data packet may be transmitted to a dimension queuing structure for a second virtual channel or a turn queuing structure within the second node.

  • Patent number: 12040949
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for connecting processors using twisted torus configurations. In some implementations, a cluster of processing nodes is coupled using a reconfigurable interconnect fabric. The system determines a number of processing nodes to allocate as a network within the cluster and a topology for the network. The system selects an interconnection scheme for the network, where the interconnection scheme is selected from a group that includes at least a torus interconnection scheme and a twisted torus interconnection scheme. The system allocates the determined number of processing nodes of the cluster in the determined topology, sets the reconfigurable interconnect fabric to provide the selected interconnection scheme for the processing nodes in the network, and provides access to the network for performing a computing task.
