  • Patent number: 11659237
Abstract: In one aspect, a method includes receiving a first request for first supplemental content for use by a content-presentation device in performing a first content-modification operation, receiving a second request for second supplemental content for use by a tuner device in performing a second content-modification operation. The method also includes determining that the content-presentation device is connected to the tuner device, and based at least in part on the first and second requests, determining that the first and second requests are associated with the same modifiable content-segment, and, in response to the determinations, using one or more parameters as a basis to select for performance an action from a set of actions including a first action that facilitates performance of the first content-modification operation and a second action that facilitates performance of the second content-modification operation.

  • Patent number: 11652917
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided to stop both external and internal fraud, ensure correct actions are being followed, and information is available to fraud teams for investigation. The system includes components that can address: 1) behavioral analytics (ANI reputation, IVR behavior, account activity)—this gives a risk assessment event before a call gets to an agent; 2) fraud detection—the ability to identify, in real time, if a caller is part of a fraudster cohort' and alert the agent and escalate to the fraud team; 3) identity authentication—the ability to identify through natural language if the caller is who they say they are; and 4) two factor authentication—the ability to send a text message to the caller and automatically process the response and create a case in the event of suspected fraud.

  • Patent number: 11646335
Abstract: An imaging device may include single-photon avalanche diodes (SPADs). The single-photon avalanche diodes may be arranged in an array of microcells (such as a silicon photomultiplier). Each microcell may have an aspect ratio that is greater than 1. Each microcell may be covered by a microlens that also has an aspect ratio that is greater than 1. The microlens may have curvature in a first direction (parallel to the width of the microcell/microlens) and less curvature in a second direction that is orthogonal to the first direction (parallel to the length of the microcell/microlens). Forming non-square, rectangular microcells and microlenses in this fashion may allow for larger microcells that still have satisfactory microlens performance.

  • Publication number: 20230094933
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer-storage media, for connecting processors using twisted torus configurations. In some implementations, a cluster of processing nodes is coupled using a reconfigurable interconnect fabric. The system determines a number of processing nodes to allocate as a network within the cluster and a topology for the network. The system selects an interconnection scheme for the network, where the interconnection scheme is selected from a group that includes at least a torus interconnection scheme and a twisted torus interconnection scheme. The system allocates the determined number of processing nodes of the cluster in the determined topology, sets the reconfigurable interconnect fabric to provide the selected interconnection scheme for the processing nodes in the network, and provides access to the network for performing a computing task.

  • Publication number: 20230062266
Abstract: A method for modeling a new design for electromagnetic effects includes identifying, with a model based system engineering tool, an area of interest in the new design where a lightning strike may occur. The new design includes structural features and electromagnetic features. The method further includes generating, with an electromagnetic effects solver tool and a structural solver tool, a design model for the area of interest in the new design, extracting design parameters from the design model, and generating a reduced order model by processing the design parameters, test results, and simulation results with a modeling tool. The reduced order model couples the structural features with the electromagnetic features. The test results are determined by tests of known designs. The simulation results are determined by simulations of known models. The method further includes storing the reduced order model in a storage medium that is readable by a statistical modeling tool.

  • Patent number: 11587665
Abstract: A system for estimating maximum heart rate and maximal oxygen uptake from submaximal exercise intensities can include an exercise intensity monitor, a cardiopulmonary monitor, and one or more computers. The computers can be configured, by virtue of appropriate programming, to receive submaximal exercise intensity data from the exercise intensity monitor and submaximal cardiopulmonary data from the cardiopulmonary monitor while a user, who coupled to the exercise intensity monitor and the cardiopulmonary monitor, is performing an exercise at a submaximal exercise intensity. The one or more computers then determine a heuristic estimate of a maximal cardiopulmonary state of the user based on the submaximal exercise intensity data and the submaximal cardiopulmonary data.
