Each text subtitle stream includes a dialog style segment defining a set of region styles and at least one dialog presentation segment, each of which contains one or more regions of dialog text. Each region of dialog text is linked to one of the set of region styles defined in the dialog style segment, and includes at least one pair of an inline style and a text string. The inline style is configured to change one of region presentation properties specified by the linked region style for the text string.

Abstract: A light-emitting device including a semiconductor nanocrystal layer and a method for producing the light-emitting device are provided. The light-emitting device includes a semiconductor nanocrystal layer whose voids are filled with a filling material. According to the light-emitting device, since voids formed between nanocrystal particles of the semiconductor nanocrystal layer are filled with a filling material, the occurrence of a current leakage through the voids is minimized, which enables the device to have extended service life, high luminescence efficiency, and improved stability.

The plasma display apparatus includes a plasma display panel including a first electrode and a second electrode, a first electrode driver, and a second electrode driver. The first electrode driver supplies a first falling signal of a voltage magnitude, that is more than a voltage magnitude of a scan signal supplied during an address period, to the first electrode before the supply of a rising signal with a gradually rising voltage in at least one subfield of several subfields of a frame. The second electrode driver supplies a second signal having a polarity opposite a polarity of the first falling signal to the second electrode during the supply of the first falling signal.

Abstract: A recording medium, method and apparatus for managing data are discussed. According to an embodiment, the present invention provides a method of reproducing main data and additional data. The method includes receiving the additional data associated with the main data, the additional data being divided into a plurality of segment units; and reproducing the additional data in a synchronous manner with the main data using time information if indication information indicates a presence of the time information. The time information indicates a presentation time of the additional data with respect to the main data. The main data and the additional data are reproduced according to management data, the management data including link information for linking the main data and the additional data.

Abstract: A nanodot memory formed by applying a nanodot colloid solution on a semiconductor substrate to more uniformly arranging nanodot particles with a size of several nanometers on the semiconductor substrate and a fabrication method thereof are provided. In the nanodot memory fabrication method, a first insulating film may be formed on a surface of a substrate. A nanodot colloid solution may be applied on the first insulating film. A solvent in the nanodot colloid solution may be removed such that a nanodot particles layer remains exposed on the first insulating film. A second insulating film may be formed on a surface of the semiconductor substrate, on which the nanodot particles are exposed. The nanodot particles may be formed in a monolayer structure by adjusting a concentration of nanodot particles within the nanodot colloid solution.

Abstract: A method for driving a plasma display apparatus is disclosed in which a scan pulse which falls to a voltage level lower than a lower limit voltage of a ramp-down waveform applied during a set-down period is applied to a scan electrode during an address period to thereby improve jitter characteristics and enable high speed driving, and an auxiliary data pulse for sustaining a voltage lower than a bias voltage applied during a set-down period is applied to the sustain electrode during an address period to thereby compensate a voltage difference with the scan electrode to prevent an erroneous discharge.

Abstract: In an organic light emitting display and a method for fabricating the same, a layout of respective pixels is changed in order to improve life span so that one pixel region having low luminous efficiency is increased. The organic light emitting display includes at least one pixel comprising sub pixels having a plurality of colors. A first sub pixel emission layer is formed over an entire surface of a pixel region. At least two second sub pixel emission layers are formed at the first sub pixel emission layer so as to have a closed curve. The layout of respective pixels is changed so as to increase an area of one sub pixel region having low luminous efficiency in order to improve the life span and aperture ratio of the organic light emitting display. In addition, during formation of an emission layer, the number of masks is reduced. Accordingly, the possibility of misalignment is reduced, thereby maximizing resolution, improving yield, and reducing manufacturing cost.

Abstract: A press-out pack is provided for packing and storing a paste material of strong flavored condiments such as crushed garlic or the like. The pack comprises an accommodation body with plural storage recesses defined by sheet like portions for a containing paste material therein, a sealing lid, and a sealing sheet covering the crushed garlic in the recesses. The sealing sheet is made of a flexible transparent plastic such as LLDPE (Linear Low Density Polyethylene). The accommodation body is made of transparent and easily collapsible material such as PET (Poly Ethylene There-phthalate). The sealing lid is made of soft plastic material with proper stiffness such as homo- and copolymer of PP (Polypropylene). Abstract: A plasma display apparatus is provided. The plasma display apparatus comprises an energy recovery unit and a sustain driver for applying a voltage recovered from the energy recovery unit to sustain electrodes as a bias voltage in an address period. The voltage recovered to a source capacitor is applied as the bias voltage in the address period so that it is possible to apply the bias voltage that varies in accordance with the sustain voltage of a plasma display panel without an additional external power source. As a result, it is possible to reduce the manufacturing expenses of the plasma display apparatus.
