    Abstract: A solar concentrator is composed of the cascading of the first light guiding module and a second light guiding module. The solar light is collected and guided simultaneously toward the light propagation destination by the light guiding modules. By cascading the light guiding modules in the direction of guiding, the solar concentrator has thinner thickness than the traditional concentrator and has a zero back focal distance to reduce the assembly cost. The solar concentrator utilizes the optical design concept of coincident image points from both the relay and converging optics such that the optical flux is increased in the cascading light guiding modules while the light propagation direction within the concentrator is maintained.

    Abstract: In some embodiments in accordance with the present disclosure, a semiconductor device including a semiconductor substrate is received. An interconnect structure is provided over the semiconductor substrate, and a passivation is provided over the interconnect structure. The passivation includes an opening such that a portion of the interconnect structure is exposed. Moreover, a dielectric is provided over the passivation, and a post-passivation interconnect (PPI) is provided over the dielectric. The PPI is configured to connect with the exposed portion of the interconnect structure through an opening in the dielectric. Furthermore, the PPI includes a receiving area for receiving a conductor, and a trench adjacent to the receiving area. In certain embodiments, the receiving area is defined by the trench.

    Abstract: An oil seal bearing of a fan includes a ring-shaped body for supporting a shaft of the fan, and a protruded portion disposed on the ring-shaped body. The protruded portion has a first slope, wherein the first slope is disposed corresponding to an inner top surface of a hub of the fan. An oil storage space is formed between the first slope, the shaft and the inner top surface for storing a lubricant. A first angle is formed by the extension of the first slope and the inner top surface, such that the lubricant is retained by the capillarity between the first slope and the inner top surface. Under this circumstance, the oil sealing is achieved without any additional oil seal, the effective bearing height is maximized, and the advantages of enhancing the supporting efficiency and lengthening the lifetime of the product are also achieved.

The circuit and the method are used to detect a PLL clock generated by a PLL of a chip to determine a status of the PLL. The PLL status detection circuit includes a counter, a status analyzing circuit and a status storing circuit. The counter is configured to generate a count value by counting cycles of the PLL clock according to a control signal. The status analyzing circuit, which is coupled to the counter, is configured to analyze the count value according to the control signal to generate an analyzed result. The status storing circuit, which is coupled to the status analyzing circuit, is configured to store the analyzed result. The status storing circuit is coupled to a scan chain of the chip so that the analyzed result is transmitted via the scan chain.

The fan frame has a frame wall having inlet and outlet surfaces, a base carrying the rotor and frame wall, a cover on one side of the frame wall opposite to the base, and a tongue structure between the base and cover. The normal lines of the inlet and outlet surfaces are not parallel to the extension direction of the shaft. The distance between the virtual line segment of the outlet surface and shaft is the shortest distance between the shaft and outlet surface. The extended line from the center of the groove opening of the tongue structure intersects the imaginary plane where the virtual line segment and shaft are located.

    Abstract: An antenna with a concentrated magnetic field has a main coil and at least one pair of auxiliary coils. Each of the main coil and each auxiliary coil has at least one coil conductor. Each one of the at least one coil conductor has a virtual reference plane. The at least one pair of auxiliary coils are mounted around the main coil and an included angle is formed between the virtual reference plane of each coil conductor of each auxiliary coil and that of each coil conductor of the main coil. Lines of magnetic field generated by each coil conductor of each auxiliary coil concentrate the lines of magnetic field of the main coil to orient to a corresponding virtual reference plane of the main coil, thereby solving the magnetic leakage and EMI easily occurring outside the zone of active transmission for conventional coils using electromagnetic induction.
