  • Publication number: 20220313933
Abstract: A ventilation apparatus has a breathing gas delivery system for delivering breathing gas to a user of the apparatus as ventilation therapy, with a controllable pressure and flow. The breathing pressure and flow are monitored to derive a respiration variability. A state of relaxation of the user is derived during provision of breathing assistance based on at least the respiration variability. Settings of the ventilation apparatus are then adapted dependence on the estimated state of relaxation for assisting the user in habituating to the breathing assistance, and hence habituating to breathing therapy.

  • Patent number: 11461976
Abstract: An augmented reality (AR) module receives a location notification including a current location from a client device. The AR module determines an AR tabletop view based on the current location. The AR tabletop view includes geographic information representing a geographic area that includes the current location. The AR module sends the AR tabletop view to the client device. The AR module receives a destination notification including a destination location within the represented geographic area. The AR module transitions the AR tabletop view into an AR world view based on the current location and the destination location. The AR module sends the AR world view to the client device for display.

  • Publication number: 20220308198
Abstract: This document describes radar tracking with model estimates augmented by radar detections. An example tracker analyzes information derived using radar detections to enhance radar tracks having object measurements estimated from directly analyzing data cubes with a model (e.g., a machine-learning model). High-quality tracks with measurements to objects of importance can be quickly produced with the model. However, the model only estimates measurements for classes of objects its training or programming can recognize. To improve estimated measurements from the model, or even in some cases, to convey additional classes of objects, the tracker separately analyzes detections. Detections that consistently align to objects recognized by the model can update model-derived measurements conveyed initially in the tracks. Consistently observed detections that do not align to existing tracks may be used to establish new tracks for conveying more classes of objects than the model can recognize.

  • Patent number: 11397640
Abstract: Devices and techniques for extended error correction in a storage device are described herein. A first set of data, that has a corresponding logical address and physical address, is received. A second set of data can be selected based on the logical address. Secondary error correction data can be computed from the first set of data and the second set of data. Primary error correction data can be differentiated from the secondary error correction data by being computed from the first set of data and a third set of data. The third set of data can be selected based on the physical address of the first set of data. The secondary error correction data can be written to the storage device based on the logical address.

  • Publication number: 20220229578
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for valid data aware media reliability scanning are described. An apparatus may include a memory array comprising a plurality of blocks and a controller coupled with the memory array. The controller may be configured to select a block of the plurality of blocks for a scan operation to determine a margin of reliability for a first set of data stored in the block. The controller may identify information associated with a status of a validity of sub-blocks of the first set of data in the block. The controller may determine a first subset of the sub-blocks storing valid data of the first set of data and a second subset of sub-blocks that are invalid based on identifying the information. The controller may perform the scan operation on the first subset of sub-blocks and not on the second subset of sub-blocks in the block.

  • Publication number: 20220229580
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for temperature tracking for a memory system are described. A set of temperature ranges and a set of partitions of a memory system may be stored. Each temperature range of the set of temperature ranges may be mapped to one or more respective partitions of the set of partitions of the memory system. A command to read a partition of the set of partitions may be received. It may then be determined whether temperature data associated with the set of temperature ranges for the partition indicates that data was written to the partition outside a threshold temperature. Data may then be read from the partition based on having determined whether the temperature data associated with the set of temperature ranges indicates that the data was written to the partition outside of the threshold temperature.

  • Publication number: 20220228925
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for temperature exception tracking in a temperature log for a memory system are described. The memory system may store the temperature log separate from data to which the temperature information corresponds. For example, a memory device may store data in a relatively higher-level cell and the corresponding temperature information in a relatively lower-level cell. To perform a write operation, the memory system may determine a current temperature at which the data is being written or was written to a partition of a memory device and may indicate in the temperature log if the current temperature is entering a temperature range that is outside a threshold temperature (e.g., a nominal temperature). To perform a read operation, the memory system may determine if the data to read was written to the memory device outside the threshold temperature to determine whether to perform temperature compensation for the read operation.

  • Publication number: 20220214821
Abstract: Apparatus and methods are disclosed, including using a memory controller to partition a memory array into a first portion and a second portion, the first portion and second portion having non-overlapping logical block addressing (LBA) ranges. The memory controller assigns a first granularity of a first logical-to-physical (L2P) mapping table entry for the first portion of the memory array designated for a first usage, and a second granularity of a second L2P mapping table entry for the second portion of the memory array designated for a second usage, where the second granularity is not equal to the first granularity. The memory controller stores the first granularity and the second granularity in the memory array, and stores at least a portion of the first L2P mapping table entry and the second L2P mapping table entry in an L2P cache of the memory controller.

  • Publication number: 20220197744
Abstract: Aspects of the present disclosure configure a system component, such as memory sub-system controller, to defer performance of an error-correction parity calculation for a block of a memory components of the memory subsystem. In particular, a memory sub-system controller of some embodiments can defer (e.g., delay) performance of an error-correction parity calculation and can defer the error-correction parity calculation such that it is performed at a time when the memory sub-system satisfies an idle state condition.

  • Publication number: 20220197790
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for valid data identification for garbage collection are described. In connection with writing data to a block of memory cells, a memory system may identify a portion of a logical address space that includes a logical address for the data. The memory system may set a bit of a bitmap, which may indicate that the block includes data having a logical address within a portion of the logical address space corresponding to the bit. The logical address space may be divided into any quantity of portions, each corresponding to a different subset of a logical-to-physical (L2P) table, and the bitmap may include any quantity of corresponding bits. To perform garbage collection on the block, the bitmap may be used to identify one or more subsets of the L2P table to evaluate to determine whether different sets of data within the block are valid or invalid.
