  • Patent number: 11850398
Abstract: A therapeutic agent delivery system includes a catheter, a vascular occluder, a pressure sensor system, and a pump system. The vascular occluder is provided at a distal end of the catheter. The pressure sensor system is provided to sense pressure at a distal end of a catheter lumen, and provides feedback to the pump system. The pump system is adapted to control a rate of infusion of a therapeutic agent through the catheter lumen based on the pressure sensed by the pressure sensor system. A method includes deploying the vascular occluder in a vessel, and then sensing a pressure in the vessel. The therapeutic agent is infused into the vessel at a flow rate based on the sensed pressure in the vessel.

  • Publication number: 20230405267
Abstract: A package for a medical device such as an intermittent catheter has a case which is closed at one end and open at the other end. A cap is connected to the case by a hinge to permit selectable movement of the cap between an open position, wherein access is provided to the open end of the case, and a closed position, wherein the cap prevents access to the open end of the case. A seal is connected to one of the cap and case. The seal is engageable with the other of the cap and case when the cap is closed to form a barrier that maintains a sterile environment inside the package. The seal can be repeatedly made and broken whenever the user closes or opens the cap, respectively. One of the case and cap has a latch and the other has a receptacle for receiving the latch to releasably retain the cap in a closed position. The latches fit into the receptacle to prevent lateral forces from distorting the cap when the cap is closed. A locking slide may be used to lock the cap to the case.

  • Publication number: 20230398584
Abstract: A technique which facilitates cleaning of an interior of a pipe via access through a lateral hole in the pipe. The technique utilizes a control bar head coupled with a sweeper system which may be inserted into the pipe through the lateral hole. The sweeper system may comprise a plurality of shiftable sweeper heads which generally align for insertion through the lateral hole and then transition along the interior of the pipe to effectively sweep particles along the interior of the pipe. The sweeper system effectively clears an area of the interior of the pipe to facilitate a more effective seal with a subsequently inserted pipe isolation device.

  • Patent number: 11842262
Abstract: A design application is configured to generate a latent space representation of a fleet of pre-existing vehicles. The design application encodes vehicle designs associated with the fleet of pre-existing vehicles into the latent space representation to generate a first latent space location. The first latent space location represents the characteristic style associated with the fleet of pre-existing vehicles. The design application encodes a sample design provided by a user into the latent space representation to produce a second latent space location. The design application then determines a distance between the first latent space location and the second latent space location. Based on the distance, the design application generates a style metric that indicates the aesthetic similarity between the sample design and the vehicle designs associated with the fleet of pre-existing vehicles. The design application can also generate new vehicle designs based on the latent space representation and the sample design.

  • Publication number: 20230364658
Abstract: A technique which facilitates cleaning of an interior of a pipe via access through a lateral hole in the pipe. The technique utilizes a control bar head which may be coupled with a control bar via a coupling feature. A shroud is positioned around the control bar head. The shroud may have a suitable shape with an interior sized to enable linear movement of the control bar head along the interior between an extended position and a retracted position. Additionally, the shroud has an exterior sized to enable insertion through the lateral hole in the pipe. Magnets may be coupled with the control bar head and oriented to pick up particles in the pipe when the control bar head is located in the extended position. When the control bar head is shifted to the retracted position, the magnets ensure retrieval of the particles into the shroud for removal from the pipe when the system is withdrawn.

  • Patent number: 11816397
Abstract: A design simulator executes a rigid body simulation to position design elements within various design options according to configurations that meet design criteria while also promoting feasibility and desirability. The design simulator assigns physical properties to each design element, including a mass value and a velocity value. The design simulator then simulates rigid body interactions between design elements over a sequence of simulation steps. The design simulator stops the rigid body simulation when no collisions between design elements are detected or when other termination criteria are met. Once the rigid body simulation is complete, the final positions of each design element relative to one another represent a specific configuration of design elements for the corresponding design option.

  • Patent number: 11775709
Abstract: In various embodiments, an automobile modeling application generates automobile designs. In operation, the automobile modeling application determines a first parameter value associated with a first instance of a first parameterized automobile component. The automobile modeling application then computes a second parameter value associated with a second instance of a second parameterized automobile component based on a structural relationship between the first instance and the second instance. Subsequently, the automobile modeling application generates a computer-aided design (CAD) geometry model for an automobile based on the first parameter value, the second parameter value, and one or more functional relationships defined between two or more instances included in a set of parameterized automobile component instances.
