  • Patent number: 12386623
Abstract: In an example, a device includes a register file; a set of functional units coupled to the register file; and an instruction decoder coupled to the register file and to the set of functional units. The instruction decoder receives an executable instruction directed to a specific functional unit of the set of functional unit. The executable instruction includes a segment specifying a register of the register file. The instruction decoder also provides the executable instruction to the specific functional unit. The specific functional unit then determines whether to execute the executable instruction based on a value stored in the register of the register file specified by the segment of the executable instruction.

  • Patent number: 12386645
Abstract: Disclosed implementations relate to automating semantically-similar computing tasks across multiple contexts. In various implementations, an initial natural language input and a first plurality of actions performed using a first computer application may be used to generate a first task embedding and a first action embedding in action embedding space. An association between the first task embedding and first action embedding may be stored. Later, subsequent natural language input may be used to generate a second task embedding that is then matched to the first task embedding. Based on the stored association, the first action embedding may be identified and processed using a selected domain model to select actions to be performed using a second computer application. The selected domain model may be trained to translate between an action space of the second computer application and the action embedding space.

  • Patent number: 12387419
Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes rendering a plurality of two-dimensional views of a three-dimensional object generated by a generative model, using a two-dimensional landmark regressor to process the plurality of two-dimensional views to generate respective sets of two-dimensional landmarks, fitting a set of three-dimensional landmarks to the respective sets of two-dimensional landmarks. The method includes processing at least a first two-dimensional view of the object using a three-dimensional landmark regressor to determine a candidate set of three-dimensional landmarks for the first two-dimensional view of the object, and updating the three-dimensional landmark regressor based at least in part on a loss function comprising a term that evaluates a deviation between the candidate set of three-dimensional landmarks and the fitted set of three-dimensional landmarks.

  • Patent number: 12388833
Abstract: A system can identify an attribute-based access control policy that comprises a pair comprising a permission policy and a condition policy that is associated with performing an operation on a computing resource. The system can identify that the attribute-based access control policy corresponds to a role policy that is associated with the account. The system can determine whether the account and the role policy satisfy the attribute-based access control policy with respect to the operation, wherein the determining comprises evaluating whether the computing resource and a required permission of the permission policy is declared in the role policy, and evaluating whether the account and the role policy satisfy the condition policy evaluates to true based on attributes of the account and attributes of the computing resource. The system can, in response to determining that the account satisfy the permission policy and the condition policy, perform the operation on the computing resource.

  • Patent number: 12386625
Abstract: A system and corresponding method unwind instructions in an out-of-order (OoO) processor. The system comprises a mapper. In response to a restart event causing at least one instruction to be unwound, the mapper restores a present integer mapper state and present floating-point (FP) mapper state, used for mapping instructions, to a former integer mapper state and former FP mapper state, respectively. The mapper stores integer snapshots and FP snapshots of the present integer and FP mapper state, respectively, to expedite restoration to the former integer and FP mapper state, respectively. Access to the FP snapshots is blocked, intermittently, as a function of at least one FP present indicator used by the mapper to record presence of FP registers used as destinations in the instructions. Blocking the access, intermittently, improves power efficiency of the OoO processor.

  • Patent number: 12385996
Abstract: Techniques are provided for operating a magnetic resonance tomography unit. The operation includes determining a B0 field map, determining an excitation of the nuclear spins that is to be achieved, and determining a spectrally selective, generic excitation pulse for transmission by the transmitter via the antenna in dependence upon the B0 field map. The generic excitation pulse is designed to generate the excitation of the nuclear spins that is to be achieved in the patient except for local differences. The operation also comprises determining a spectrally selective, dynamic excitation pulse for transmission by the transmitter via the antenna in dependence upon the B0 field map. The excitation pulse is designed so as to compensate the local differences and thus to generate the excitation of the nuclear spins that is to be achieved in the patient, and outputting the excitation pulse via the antenna.

  • Patent number: 12384066
Abstract: A cutting method and apparatus for closures of the “tethered” type are disclosed, in which a spindle that carries a closure is moved to a cutting device with one or more horizontal blades and at least one vertical or oblique blade. During cutting, the spindle rotates and the closure rolls on the cutting device. The spindle, which is fed several times to the cutting device carrying each time a different closure, comprises a portion made of a softer material than the blades so that during cutting the blades penetrate the material of the closure and then sink into the softer portion of the spindle. Feeding the spindle that carries the closure to the cutting device is coordinated with rotation of the spindle so that the vertical or oblique blade, each time that the spindle is fed to the cutting device, always meets the same zone of the softer portion of the spindle.
