  • Patent number: 12290701
Abstract: Systems and methods are described for treatment of neurological conditions in which transcranial illumination using infrared, near-infrared and/or red wavelengths of light are delivered into the brain of a patient using a portable head wearable device. Arrays of light emitters are simultaneously controlled to provide a selected power density and distribution during a therapeutic session to treat a condition of the patient. An external controller such as a touchscreen tablet or laptop computer can be used to select illumination parameters for each patient. The system can be used to provide treatment to children such as those having autism spectrum disorder (ASD).

  • Patent number: 12290618
Abstract: A scent dispenser/absorber includes a container, an invertible lid reversibly attached to an open end of the container, a vented cage, and a scent cartridge housed within the cage. In an “off” condition or state, the scent cartridge/cage combination is received in an interior chamber of the container, where the scent cartridge is out of communication with the surrounding environment and therefore incapable of performing scent dispensing or absorbing functions. The scent dispenser/absorber can be switched to an “on” condition or state by manually inverting the lid and, in some cases, the associated cage/scent cartridge combination, such that the scent cartridge can be positioned externally of the container, where it can communicate with the surrounding environment to perform a desired scent dispensing or absorbing function. In an “on” condition, scent molecules originating from an odorant contained in the scent cartridge are diffused into the surrounding environment.

  • Patent number: 12293287
Abstract: A set of training electrocardiograms (ECGs) for each of a plurality of subjects is processed using a machine learning model to generate an output for each training ECG of each of the plurality of subjects. Training ECGs for each subject are labeled with an identity of the subject. A machine learning model is trained by comparing the output generated for each training ECG to a corresponding label of the training ECG to generate an identity model to identify ECGs of a first subject of the plurality of subjects. A first ECG is received from an ECG sensor and input to the identity model, which generates an output indicating whether the first ECG corresponds to the first subject. In response to the output indicating that the first ECG does not correspond to the first subject, a condition that the first subject has or may develop is determined based on the output.

  • Patent number: 12290369
Abstract: Methods and computer systems are described that classify a cardiogram as being an atrial fibrillation (AF) or ventricular fibrillation (VF) cardiogram, automatically detect an AF epoch within an AF cardiogram, and automatically detect a VF epoch within a VF cardiogram. A classification and identification (C&I) system includes a classification system, an AF identification system, and a VF identification system. The C&I system processes cardiograms collected from patients to classify the cardiograms as being AF cardiograms or VF cardiograms and to identify AF epochs within the AF cardiograms or VF epochs within the VF cardiograms. The C&I system may then identify an AF source location of an AF based on the AF epochs and a VF source location of a VF based on the VF epochs. The C&I system may display a graphic of a heart that includes an indication of a source location.
