Abstract: One embodiment of the present invention sets forth a technique for placing graphical elements on display surfaces. The technique includes generating a first visualization of a first display surface based on a first two-dimensional (2D) parameterization of the first display surface. The technique also includes receiving a first user input that specifies a first location within the first visualization and converting the first location into a second location within the first 2D parameterization. The technique further includes causing a first graphical element to be displayed at a third location on the first display surface based on the second location and displaying, within the first visualization, a first representation of the first graphical element at the first location.

  • Publication number: 20250144750
Abstract: Additive particles are introduced to a braze joint by combining the additive particles with a flux and using the flux with additive particles to form a core or coating of a braze product including braze alloy and flux. Additive particles are selected to provide some improvement to the finished braze joint that cannot be achieved by combining the additive particles directly into the braze alloy. Methods of brazing include application of vibration to a braze joint while the braze joint is maintained at a brazing temperature. Vibration applied to the materials being joined is transmitted through the flux, molten braze alloy and additive particles, producing a braze joint of increased strength and uniformity.

  • Publication number: 20250149127
Abstract: The invention refers to an apparatus (110) for predicting a technical application property for a polymer based on a digital representation of the polymer. A digital representation providing unit (111) provides a digital representation of the polymer indicative of polymer descriptors. The polymer descriptors are indicative of parameters quantifying physicochemical characteristics of subgroups of the polymer. A prediction model providing unit (112) provides a prediction model adapted to predict a technical application property of the polymer based on the digital representation, wherein the prediction model is a data-driven model parametrized such that it predicts based on the polymer descriptors indicated by the digital representation the technical application property associated with the polymer. A property determination unit (113) determines the technical application property based on the provided digital representation of the polymer and the prediction model.

  • Publication number: 20250145509
Abstract: A mobile processing system is disclosed for the removal of radioactive contaminants from nuclear process wastewater. The system is fully scalable, modular, and portable allowing the system to be fully customizable according to site-specific remediation requirements. It is designed to be both transported and operated from standard sized intermodal containers or custom designed enclosures for increased mobility between sites and on-site, further increasing the speed and ease with which the system may be deployed. Additionally, the system is completely modular wherein the various modules perform different forms or stages of wastewater remediation and may be connected in parallel and/or in series. Depending on the needs of the site, one or more different processes may be used. In some embodiments, one or more of the same modules may be used in the same operation.
