  • Publication number: 20200139401
Abstract: A system that reduces the amount of water that enters a process chamber via a movable shaft is disclosed. The surface of the shaft is made hydrophobic. Any water droplets that are collected on the hydrophobic shaft are disposed at a high contact angle, making it more likely that these water droplets fall from the shaft. Further, any water that enters the process chamber is more readily removed from the shaft due to the lower energy of liberation. Reducing the amount of water in a process chamber may improve the lifetime of the components in the process chamber and may improve the yield of the workpieces being processed. This may be especially relevant when process gasses that contain halogens are employed.

  • Patent number: 10568516
Abstract: A method for measuring the activity of one or more excitable cells, such as neurons, in a target tissue is provided. The present method may include measuring the activity of individual, selected excitable cells by projecting one or more three dimensional (3D) multi-focal laser light patterns into a target tissue containing excitable cells adapted to emit cellular electrical activity—sensitive fluorescence, to generate a multiplexed 2D diffraction pattern of fluorescence emitted by the neurons, and resolving the multiplexed 2D diffraction pattern. Also provided herein is a system configured to perform the present method, the system including a microscope configured to project one or more 3D multi-focal laser light patterns into a target tissue using a spatial light modulator and a mirror galvanometer, and a microlens array and an image detector to record individual and multiplexed 2D diffraction patterns of light emitted from the target tissue.

  • Publication number: 20200022982
Abstract: Imipridones selectively modulate Class A G protein-coupled receptors (GPCRs), such as the D2-like subfamily of dopamine receptors, and are useful for treating conditions and disorders in need of such modulation, such as cancers. Specifically, the cancer is a midline glioma, a cancer having a histone H3 mutation, or both. In addition, methods of identifying whether a subject having these conditions, is likely to be responsive to a treatment regimen, such as imipridone administration, are provided. Furthermore, methods of assessing the effectiveness of a treatment regimen, such as imipridone administration, monitoring, or providing a prognosis for a subject with these condition are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20190335739
Abstract: A live trap for capturing an animal by its paw includes a hollow body with a ground stake. A lever assembly, jaw, latch, and trigger are pivotally mounted on the body for movement between a released position and a set position. A trapper can squeeze the lever to automatically set the trap without touching the latch or the trigger. A latch guide on the lever and a curved surface on the trigger direct the latch into retentive engagement with a notch in the trigger for setting the trap. The latch is released by an animal withdrawing its paw from a position behind the trigger, where bait resides.

  • Publication number: 20190333933
Abstract: A method used in forming an array of elevationally-extending transistors comprises forming vertically-alternating tiers of insulating material and void space. Such method includes forming (a) individual longitudinally-aligned channel openings extending elevationally through the insulating-material tiers, and (h) horizontally-elongated trenches extending elevationally through the insulating-material tiers. The void-space tiers are filled with conductive material by flowing the conductive material or one or more precursors thereof through at least one of (a) and (b) to into the void-space tiers. After the filling, transistor channel material is formed in the individual channel openings along the insulating-material tiers and along the conductive material in the filled void-space tiers.
