  • Patent number: 10736656
Abstract: An intravascular catheter for peri-vascular or peri-urethral tissue ablation includes multiple needles advanced through supported guide tubes which expand around a central axis to engage the interior surface of the wall of the renal artery or other vessel of a human body allowing the injection an ablative fluid for ablating tissue, or nerve fibers in the outer layer or deep to the outer layer of the vessel, or in prostatic tissue. A method can involve injection/infusion of the ablative fluid over an extended time period of at least 10 seconds or with two injections at two different penetration depths to reduce or eliminate patient pain during ablation.

  • Publication number: 20200188007
Abstract: An intravascular catheter for peri-vascular and/or peri-urethral tissue ablation includes multiple needles advanced through supported guide tubes which expand with open ends around a central axis to engage the interior surface of the wall of the renal artery or other vessel of a human body allowing the injection an ablative fluid for ablating tissue, and/or nerve fibers in the outer layer or deep to the outer layer of the vessel, or in prostatic tissue. The system also includes means to limit and/or adjust the depth of penetration of the ablative fluid into and beyond the tissue of the vessel wall. The preferred embodiment of the catheter includes structures which provide radial and lateral support to the guide tubes so that the guide tubes open uniformly and maintain their position against the interior surface of the vessel wall as the sharpened injection needles are advanced to penetrate into the vessel wall.

  • Publication number: 20200131742
Abstract: A retainer sleeve configured for use in a retainer system for a ground engaging tool includes a plurality of plate-like sections, each section being flexibly joined with an adjacent section along either a radially inner edge or a portion of a radially outer edge. The radially inner edges of the plurality of sections form part of a segmented inner surface configured for engagement with an outer surface of a locking member of the retainer system. The inner surface extends partially around a central axis of the retainer sleeve to form a substantially C-shaped retainer sleeve having opposite circumferential ends that are spaced from each other. The radially outer edges of the plurality of sections form part of a segmented, frustoconical outer surface configured for engagement in an internal lock cavity of a ground engaging tool tip.

  • Patent number: 10628982
Abstract: A visual characteristic on a physical surface in the physical space is determined from an image of a physical space, with the physical surface including a first area inside the visual characteristic and a second area outside of the visual characteristic. A first region of virtual space that corresponds to the first area and a second region of virtual space that corresponds to the second area is determined based at least in part on the visual characteristic. Information that includes a position and orientation of a digital object relative to the first region and the second region in the virtual space is determined based at least in part on the visual characteristic. The digital object is rendered at a position and orientation in the virtual space in accordance with the information.

  • Patent number: 10586908
Abstract: The disclosed technology can be used to increase lifetimes of quantum coherent devices such as qubits including transmons and xmons and to reduce the losses in resonators. Energy stored in superconducting devices can be lost by emission of phonons that couple to the environment. Defects in one or more materials in the quantum coherent device can cause the coupling to phonons. Patterning one or more of the layers creates a phononic bandgap that reduces or eliminates the emission of the phonons to the environment. The energy then couples back to the quantum coherent device.

  • Publication number: 20200074101
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed to centralized de-identification of protected data associated with subjects in multiple modalities based on a hierarchal taxonomy of policies and handlers. In various embodiments, data set(s) associated with subject(s) may be received. Each of the data set(s) may contain data points associated with a respective subject. The data points associated with the respective subject may include multiple data types, at least some of which are usable to identify the respective subject. For each respective subject: a classification of each of the data points may be determined in accordance with a hierarchal taxonomy; based on the classifications, respective handlers for the data points may be identified; and each data point of the plurality of data points may be processed using a respective identified handler, thereby de-identifying the plurality of data points associated with the respective subject.

  • Publication number: 20200065524
Abstract: Techniques disclosed herein relate to removing potentially identifying features of a specific subject from a data set to prevent re-identification of the subject using an external data source. In various embodiments, the data set contains, as potential identifying features of the specific subject, multiple bursts of temporally-proximate events. Time blocks within the data set can be identified to capture one or more of the bursts of temporally-proximate events for the specific subject. Adding random time shifts for each time block can add noise to the data set and remove or obfuscate the identifying features of a specific subject to generate a time shifted data set.

  • Publication number: 20190340836
Abstract: The present disclosure provides systems and methods that allow a first user to anchor a virtual object to a physical location and a second user to view the virtual object at the physical location. In particular, aspects of the present disclosure are directed to workflows, application programming interfaces (“APIs”), and computing system infrastructure that enable a first computing device to generate an ad hoc mapping of its physical surroundings (e.g., based on sensor data collected by the first device) and to position and anchor a virtual object at a physical location within such mapping. Data descriptive of the mapping and virtual object can be stored in a cloud database and can then be used by or for a second device to render the virtual object at the location of the anchor.
