Abstract: An apparatus for measuring a magnetic field strength is provided. The apparatus includes a stage on which a sample to be measured is placed, a cantilever having a tip, an optical system having a light source and a light receiver, and a microwave power source. The tip is a diamond tip having a nitrogen vacancy defect. The optical system is configured such that excitation light from the light source is focused at the diamond tip. The cantilever is configured as a coaxial microwave antenna through which microwaves from the microwave power source are supplied to the diamond tip.

Abstract: An applicator head for applying a product including a cosmetic, care, or pharmaceutical product onto the keratinous substrate. The applicator head includes an applying member elongated along a longitudinal axis. The applying member includes an inclined distal end face and at least one sidewall extending from a proximal end of the applying member to a peripheral edge of the inclined distal end face. The at least one sidewall includes a front side face, a back side face, a left side face, and a right side face. An upper half portion of each of the back side face and the front side face is at least 20% narrower than an upper half portion of each of the left side face and the right side face. The at least one sidewall includes a central concave portion extending between a proximal portion and a distal portion of the at least one sidewall.

Abstract: A plural-fans driving apparatus is provided to drive a first fan and a second fan, and the first fan and the second fan are three-phase fans. The plural-fans driving apparatus includes a controller, a first three-phase motor driver structure, a second three-phase motor driver structure, and a protection and input interface circuit. The protection and input interface circuit is coupled to the first three-phase motor driver structure and the second three-phase motor driver structure, and protects the first three-phase motor driver structure and the second three-phase motor driver structure. The controller controls the first three-phase motor driver structure to drive the first fan, and controls the second three-phase motor driver structure to drive the second fan.

Abstract: A dropper package for dispensing and applying a fluid product, comprising a container body for storing the fluid product and a dropper assembly coupled to one end of the container body. The dropper assembly comprises a deformable bulb, a tube with its proximal end connected to the deformable bulb, and an applicator tip connected to a distal end of the tube. The applicator tip comprises a shank portion and an applying member that has two opposing main application faces. The applicator tip includes a groove on its outer surface that extends from a proximal end of the shank portion to at least a length of the applying member on one of the two opposing main application faces. The applying member is adapted to apply and dispense the fluid product in a very controlled manner as well as massage the user's keratinous surface.

Abstract: A refillable container for a stick type cosmetic product comprising a cap, a refill cartridge and a base assembly. The base assembly comprises an outer shell and a button member. The refill cartridge is configured to be detachably received at least partially within a cavity of the outer shell of the base assembly such that the refill cartridge may be removed and replaced from said base assembly by pressing the button member provided in the base assembly.

Abstract: A method of manufacturing an array of magnetic random access memory cells includes writing to a magnetic random access memory cell. The writing to a memory cell includes determining an optimum write current for the array of memory cells, and applying the optimum write current to a first memory cell in the array. A first read current is applied to the first memory cell to determine whether a magnetic orientation of the first memory cell has changed in response to applying the optimum write current. A second write current is applied to the first memory cell when the magnetic orientation of the first memory cell has not changed. The second write current is different from the optimum write current. A second read current is applied to the first memory cell to determine whether the magnetic orientation of the first memory cell changed in response to applying the second write current.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing a liquid product, the dispenser comprising a housing, a pump assembly, a dispensing head, and an inner container. The inner container accommodates the liquid product and is configured to be inserted into a cavity of the housing. The inner container is replaceable and detachably connected to the housing such that the housing, the pump assembly, and the dispensing head can be retained for reuse while the inner container can be replaced with a new inner container. A protrusion is provided on an underside of the inner container that a user can grip to rotate the inner container in a clockwise or anticlockwise direction to disengage the inner container from the housing.

Abstract: A packaging and applicator device comprising a container containing a liquid composition for application, an applicator capable of being fastened removably on the container, and a corrector mounted at one end of the applicator. The applicator includes a rod, an applicator endpiece at a distal end of the rod, and a handle member connected to a proximal end of the rod. The applicator endpiece is made of a felt tip that can be impregnated with the composition contained in the container, and wherein the applicator endpiece is used for applying eyeliner. Abstract: A method of performing metrology analysis of a thin film includes coupling a radiation into an optical element disposed adjacent to a surface of the thin film. The radiation is coupled such that the radiation is totally internally reflected at an interface between the optical element and the thin film. An evanescent radiation generated at the interface penetrates the thin film. The method furthers include analyzing the evanescent radiation scattered by the thin film to obtain properties of the thin film.

Abstract: A cosmetic package comprising a roller for discharging a powder product. The cosmetic package comprises an outer cap, an inner cap, an insert, the roller, a container, and a base plug. The container has an open bottom end which is closed by the base plug. The insert is mounted within the container above a cosmetics accommodating space of the container. A bottom surface of the insert includes two support members for rotatably accommodating two axle projections of the roller such that at least a portion of the roller is disposed rotatably within the cosmetics accommodating space of the container and another portion of the roller extending outside the cosmetics accommodating space from an aperture located at a bottom end of the insert. The inner cap forms a tight seal with the insert and the roller to prevent leakage of powder product from the container.
