  • Patent number: 7218355
Abstract: A display processor integrated circuit includes a display processor portion and an on-chip programmable logic portion. The programmable logic portion can be configured to implement custom video and/or image enhancement functions. The display processor portion performs block-based motion detection. If no motion is detected for a given block of pixels, then interline gaps in the block are filled using temporal interpolation. If motion is detected, then interline gaps are filled using spatial interpolation. To maintain accuracy without unduly increasing computational complexity, a less complex high angle spatial interpolation method is employed where a low angle tilt condition is not detected. A more computationally intensive low angle spatial interpolation method can therefore be employed in low angle tilt conditions. Integrated circuit cost is reduced by employing pipelining to write parts of segment buffers at the same time that other parts are being read to perform the interpolation process.

  • Patent number: 7211371
Abstract: A method of manufacturing a TFT array panel for a LCD disclosers that the gate electrode wiring, transparent conducting electrode, and the first electrode of the storage capacity are formed while the first mask is processing. Then, the selective deposition method is used to process the growth of the first metal wiring. This, therefore, can reduce the numbers of the mask processes. Further, the metal deposition with photo-resist lift-off step is used to implement the layout of the second metal wiring for the consequent transmission lines in the manufacturing process. Finally, the process of the passivation layer deposition is used to implement associated circuits of a TFT array panel for a LCD. • Publication number: 20060158912
Abstract: A power factor corrector control device accomplishes control of power factor correction with a simpler and cheaper circuit, overcomes the drawback of higher current harmonics occurred in the prior art, and also accommodates mains voltage distortion. This power factor corrector control device uses a built-in circuit to discriminate the mains frequency, and generates a pure sinusoidal signal having the same frequency with the mains frequency. The product of a feed-forward signal and an output error signal is exploited to get a constant by using a sample-and-hold circuit to determine the amplitude of a reference current signal, hence preventing ripples of the feed-forward signal and the output error signal from generating distortion of the reference current signal after circuit operation. Moreover, a division approximate circuit is used to accomplish simple feed-forward control so as to apply to various different mains voltage levels.

  • Publication number: 20060009731
Abstract: An electric energy auxiliary device of transdermal drug delivery patch is provided which includes an upper electrode, a lower electrode, and a drug storage area between two electrodes, generating a kinetic energy in the pharmaceutical compound in the drug storage area toward the skin by a electric field between two electrodes. For the pharmaceutical compound with the same polarity, the pharmaceutical compound is pushed by the electric energy interacted with polar the pharmaceutical compound so as to deliver the drug the human body. The lower electrode generates an ion channel with electroporation on the surface of skin. By using the change of electric field on the surface of skin, a temporary ion channel is generated in the cells where the pharmaceutical compound enters the systemic circulation of human body via skin. This temporary ion channel allows large compound to pass into the skin of human body.

  • Publication number: 20050243959
Abstract: A method and apparatus are disclosed for detecting a synchronization mark in a received signal. The received signal is processed to compensate for a DC bias in the received signal, such as subtracting an average of a block of received samples from each sample in the block. A distance metric, such as a sum of square differences, is computed between the DC compensated received signal and an ideal version of the received signal expected when reading the synchronization mark. The synchronization mark is detected if the distance metric satisfies predefined criteria. The ideal version of the received signal can optionally be processed to compensate for a DC bias in the synchronization mark. A search for the synchronization mark search can be limited to time cycles that match a known phase.
