  • Publication number: 20070046259
Abstract: The battery array cools battery modules 1 by flowing cooling air through a holder case 2 housing three or more levels of battery modules 1. A holder case 2 has a pair of opposing sidewalls 4 that are closed off by an inlet panel 5 on the inlet side and an outlet panel 6 on the outlet side to form an enclosed chamber 7 that houses battery modules 1. The inlet panel 5 has cooling air air intakes 8 opened on both sides. The outlet panel 6 has an exhaust opening 9 at its central region to exhaust cooling air. Opposing sidewalls 4 have projections 10 between adjacent battery modules 1, and the protrusion height of the inner surfaces of those projections 10 increases from upstream to downstream in the cooling air flow.

  • Publication number: 20070005895
Abstract: A cache controller is connected to a processor and a main memory. The cache controller is also connected to a cache memory that can read and write at a speed higher than the main memory. The cache memory is provided with a plurality of cache lines that include a tag area storing an address on the main memory, a capacity area storing a capacity value of a cache block, and a cache block. When a read request is executed from the processor to the main memory, the cache controller checks whether the requested data is present in the cache memory or not. A cache capacity determination unit determines a capacity value for the cache block and supplies to a capacity area.

Abstract: According to an aspect of the invention, Montgomery arithmetic can be achieved while omitting division in an input stage. That is, the aspect of the invention is configured to obtain a Montgomery transform result m? (=mR mod p) of n-bit from an input m of 2n-bit without using the division, with using Montgomery reduction and Montgomery multiplication instead of conventional mod arithmetic and the Montgomery transform. Accordingly, Montgomery arithmetic can be achieved while omitting the division in the input stage.

  • Publication number: 20060072012
Abstract: Five infrared sensors are located in different height positions between respective main bodies 10A to 10H, and all of these infrared sensors transmit and receive 35 infrared rays pulse-coded in conformity with a start-stop system. In addition, these pulse-coded infrared rays have the signal width of, for example, 450 ?s, and are serially transmitted with a predetermined delay time in a period of 20 ms by a delayed synchronizing-signal. Intrusion surveillance is performed by identifying the pulse codes of these infrared rays. According to this, since not only interference among a plurality of infrared sensors is prevented, but also infrared rays are outputted in a short time, the occurrence of false alarms etc. decreases remarkably.
