  • Publication number: 20060044980
Abstract: A recording and replaying apparatus includes a drive controller which is connected to an optical disk drive and a disk information storage buffer which stores use conditions for an optical disk. When use conditions corresponding to identification information of the optical disk are stored in the disk information storage buffer, the drive controller instructs the optical disk drive to execute first adjustment processing. Whereas when use conditions corresponding to the identification information of the optical disk are not stored in the disk information storage buffer, the drive controller instructs the optical disk drive to execute second adjustment processing.

  • Publication number: 20040222793
Abstract: One aspect of the invention provides a magnetic resonance diagnosis apparatus capable of performing magnetic tagging of a three-dimensional region to visualize three-dimensional motion or to quantitatively handle the motion. In this apparatus, a control unit controls a gradient magnetic field power source of each axis so that magnetization by gradient magnetic fields generated from a gradient magnetic field coil describes a three-dimensional orbit inside a k-space and performs magnetic tagging for a predetermined three-dimensional region of an object by adjusting a magnitude of gradient magnetic field pulses, pulse intervals and application time. Consequently, one aspect of the invention can provide an MRI apparatus capable of more flexibly observing motion of organs and flow of blood.

  • Publication number: 20040188755
Abstract: A semiconductor device and its manufacturing method in which the trade-off relationship between channel resistance and JFET resistance is improved. The same mask is used to form a source region and a base region by ion implantation. In a vertical MOSFET including SiC, a source region and a base region are formed by ion implantation using the same tapered mask to give the base region a tapered shape. The taper angle of the tapered mask is set to 30° to 60° when the material of the tapered mask has the same range as SiC in ion implantation, and to 20° to 45° when the material of the tapered mask is SiO2.

  • Patent number: 6611102
Abstract: The present invention provides a tungsten-halogen light bulb having an arc tube with a seal portion at one end. A filament is provided in the interior of the arc tube, and a basic gas mainly comprising at least either gaseous xenon or gaseous krypton is filled in the arc tube. When V (V) denotes a rated voltage of the tungsten-halogen light bulb, P(MPa) denotes a filling pressure of the basic gas at a room temperature, and Xe vol. % and Kr vol. % respectively denote composition ratios of the gaseous xenon and of the gaseous krypton, the following formulas (1) and (2) are satisfied simultaneously, in which ‘%’ means ‘volume %’. V≧100 (Volt)  (1) P≧0.7+{0.1×(Kr%/(Kr%+Xe%))}  (2) In these formulas, Kr %+Xe %=100(%), 0≦Kr %≦100, and 0≦Xe %≦100. Accordingly, a crack at the seal portion of the arc tube is prevented and the lifetime is improved.
