  • Publication number: 20040131398
Abstract: An image transferring device of the present invention includes a first and a second intermediate image transfer body whose surfaces endlessly move while forming a nip in contact with each other. When a sheet nipped by the nip is being conveyed toward a side downstream of the nip in the direction in which the above surfaces move, a first toner image transferred from an image carrier to the second intermediate image transfer body via the first intermediate image transfer body beforehand is transferred to one side of the sheet. At the same time, a second toner image transferred from the image carrier to the first image transfer body beforehand is transferred to the other side of the sheet. One of the two intermediate image transfer bodies is less deformable than the other intermediate image transfer body in the direction of thickness.

  • Publication number: 20040101332
Abstract: An image forming apparatus of the present invention includes a first and a second intermediate image transfer belt contacting each other to form a nip for secondary image transfer. While the nip is heated, a sheet is passed through the nip to thereby transfer toner images respectively formed on the first and second belts to opposite surfaces of the sheet at the same time. The nip is sized such that image transfer and fixation can be effected at temperature higher than the melting point or the softening point of toner by 5° C. to 50° C.

  • Publication number: 20040059455
Abstract: A manufacturing method of a circuit substrate, in which an electronic circuit is formed on a surface of a base member by a solution jetting device. The manufacturing method comprises: jetting liquid drops of a solution which is supplied into a nozzle having a discharge port with an inner diameter of 0.1 &mgr;m to 100 &mgr;m and includes a plurality of fine particles to form an electronic circuit by melting and sticking to one another and a dispersant for dispersing the fine particles, from the discharge port toward the surface of the base member by applying a voltage of an arbitrary waveform to the solution to charge the solution; and exposing the jetted liquid drops received on the surface of the base member to light or heat to make the fine particles melt and stick to one another.

  • Patent number: 6710591
Abstract: A method and system for measuring anchoring strength of liquid crystal through measurement of magnetic field induced torque. In the system for measuring anchoring strength of liquid crystal, when a magnetic field (7) is applied to a liquid crystal cell (1), a torsion wire (5) twists in response to the magnetic field (7) As a result, a mirror (6) attached to the torsion wire (5) displaces, and thus a laser beam emitted from a laser (8) and reflected from the mirror (6) rotates. The displacement of the laser beam is detected by a bisected photodiode (9) for position detection. Specifically, outputs from the bisected photodiode (9) are amplified by means of amplifiers (10) and (11), which output voltages VA and VB, respectively. The magnetic-field induced torque is proportional to the rotational angle of the mirror, which is proportional to VA-VB.

  • Patent number: 6679698
Abstract: A die clamping apparatus including a movable plate which is in connection with a pushing-out pin which is projected from and retracted to a moving die and which is held movably with respect to a moving die plate, a clamp member for obtaining a constraint of the movable member, an air cylinder and a hook member. Only a movement of the movable member is constraint by the air cylinder with respect to the moving die plate when the latter is moved in a die opening direction from a die opening limit position, so that a resultant relative movement between the movable plate and the moving die plate, which causes the pushing-out pin to be projected from the moving die, resulting in a removal of a molded product, while the constraint of the movable member prevents the moving die plate from being moved in the die closing direction when the moving die plate in the die opening limit position is under non clamping condition.

  • Publication number: 20030235442
Abstract: An image forming method of the present invention begins with a first image transfer step for thermally transferring a first toner image from a first image carrier to a second image carrier contacting it. Subsequently, in a second image transfer step, the first toner image carried on the second image carrier and a second toner image newly formed on the first image carrier are thermally transferred to opposite sides of a recording medium substantially at the same time. Higher image transfer temperature is assigned to the second image transfer step than to the first image transfer step.
