  • Patent number: 6312804
Abstract: A process of producing a vinyl chloride fiber with a small fineness having seven-tenth to half of the full luster surface and feel remarkably similar to human hair is provided. The process provides the vinyl chloride fiber comprising a vinyl chloride resin composition obtained by formulating (a) 1-35 parts by weight of ethylene-vinyl acetate resin, (b) 0.2-5.0 parts by weight of thermal stabilizer, and (c) 0.2-5.0 parts by weight of lubricant to 100 parts of a vinyl chloride mixture consisting of 100-60% by weight of a vinyl chloride resin and 0-40% by weight of chlorinated vinyl chloride resin. The process also provides the vinyl chloride fiber obtained by melt spinning the resin composition described above. The vinyl chloride fiber is useful for an artificial hair fiber for the decoration of hair or a doll's hair fiber such as a doll hair.

  • Patent number: 5855239
Abstract: A method for controlling the injection of a die casting machine in which immediately after molten metal is injected into a cavity of metal molds at a high speed, the pressure oil in the chamber at the rod side of an injection cylinder is discharged into a tank side to commence the increase in pressure. A reference point for a switching-over position where a high speed charge is switched over to the increase in pressure is determined by computing a necessary length along the path for keeping the increased charging pressure on the basis of the supplied molten metal quantity during the previous injection process and subtracting the length from the length between the starting position and the position of limit of the forward movement at the previous injection process.

  • Patent number: 5770808
Abstract: In a product quality determining method for dies cast machines, injection and casting conditions such as injection speeds, speed change-over positions, high speed interval, pressure raising time, casting pressure, and die clamping force by means of measuring means for each shot in actual casting process of the dies cast machine automatically measured. A measured value relating to the injection and casting condition of a shot as a reference value for determining a product quality when a good product button is operated by operators is set. A product quality determining range by determining upper limit value and a lower limit value of a predetermined allowable width with respect to the reference value is set. Whether or not the measured value of the injection and casting condition is within the product quality determining range by means of an arithmetic operation means is determined.
