  • Patent number: 8041107
Abstract: A method and apparatus for inspecting defects and attachment position of an attached OVD without any influence of a change in the pattern of the OVD due to fluttering or undulation during conveyance of the printed product. Image input means and illumination means are arranged at positions where mirror reflected light and diffracted light from the OVD have values equal to or less than a threshold value upon a binarization process by image processing means. The image processing means executes the binarization process, compares the image data with the reference image data or the image data with the reference image data and the data indicating the reference position, and determines the acceptability of at least one of the form, area, and position of the OVD attached to the base material on the basis of a comparison result.

  • Publication number: 20110235401
Abstract: A nonvolatile semiconductor memory device according to an embodiment herein includes a memory cell array. The memory cell array includes memory cells each provided between a first line and a second line and each including a variable resistor. A control circuit applies through the first and second lines a voltage necessary for a forming operation of the memory cell. A current limiting circuit limits a value of a current flowing across the memory cell during the forming operation to a certain limit value. The control circuit repeats an operation of applying the voltage by setting the limit value to a certain value and an operation of changing the limit value from the certain value, until forming of the memory cell is achieved.

  • Patent number: 7673163
Abstract: The power supply is effectively controlled in a semiconductor integrated circuit device having a multi domain structure so as to reduce the power consumption. When an interrupt signal is inputted, the system controller makes an instruction of wakeup to the corresponding switch control unit. At this moment, the system controller controls power supply so as to be supplied sequentially from the core power source area belonging to the lower hierarchical level dependent on the core power source area to which power is supplied. The system controller outputs the power supply switch-on request signal to the switch control unit. The switch control unit turns ON the power supply switch and sends the power-on completion signal back to the system controller. Similarly, the system controller supplies power sequentially to core power source areas in the dependency relation one after another from the lower hierarchy to the upper hierarchy.

  • Publication number: 20100027043
Abstract: According to the present invention, internal print settings of a document are handed over to hot folder settings. A hot folder manager 200 stores handover settings in the XPS performance settings 216 and stores print settings in PT data 217 and JDF data 218. On receipt of an input XPS document, the hot folder manager consults the handover settings, reads values of specified items from the internal print settings recorded in a print ticket of the XPS document, and merges the specified items with external print settings stored in the PT data 217 or the JDF data 218. The new print settings resulting from the merge are appended to document data in a specified output format, and transmitted to a print device 103.
