  • Publication number: 20160366122
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for providing a single sign-on experience for mobile devices that may or may not be managed. A service provider receives an access request from a first client application executed in a client device. The service provider causes the first client application, using a redirection response that redirects the access request to an identity provider, to request an authentication token from a second client application executed in the client device. The service provider receives the authentication token from the first client application. The service provider then authenticates the first client application in response to verifying the authentication token.

  • Publication number: 20160366120
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for single-sign on by way of managed mobile devices. For example, an identity provider service can receive a request for an identity assertion from an application executed in a client device. The identity provider service can then detect a platform associated with the client device. A response to the request can be sent based at least in part on the platform, where the response requests authentication by a management credential. Data generated by the management credential is received from the client device, and the management credential is determined to be valid for the identity assertion. The identity assertion is then sent to the client device in response to determining that the management credential is valid for the identity assertion.

  • Publication number: 20160366121
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for providing a single sign-on experience for managed mobile devices. A management application executed in a computing device receives a single sign-on request from a managed client application executed by the same computing device. The management application determines that the client application is permitted to access a management credential for single sign-on use. The management application provides the management credential to the client application in response to the single sign-on request.

  • Publication number: 20160366119
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for providing a single sign-on experience for mobile applications that may or may not be managed. A first application executed in a client device sends an access request to a service provider. The first application receives a redirection response from the service provider that redirects the first application to an identity provider. The first application then receives a further redirection response from the identity provider that causes the first application to request an identity assertion from a second application executed in the client device. The first application receives the identity assertion from the second application. The first authentication then authenticates with the service provider using the identity assertion.

  • Publication number: 20160357581
Abstract: Handling locale information on a computing platform in a cloud computing environment. An application pushed by a cloud client is received by a computing platform, in response to receiving a request from a user to execute the application. Locale information associated with the application and the user is retrieved by the computing platform. A script is created and executed by the computing platform to configure a locale of an operating system, and that identifies and installs applications upon which the pushed application depends for execution. A runtime environment, the pushed application, and the applications upon which the pushed application depends for execution in the runtime environment are booted by the computing platform. The pushed application is then executed by the computing platform in the runtime environment.

  • Publication number: 20160357617
Abstract: Handling locale information on a computing platform, a computer obtains, in response to an event that an application is pushed to a computing platform, locale information corresponding to the application. The computer determines the type of the application, configures a runtime executable file required by the application according to the locale information corresponding to the application and the type of the application, creates a script for configuring a locale of an operating system on the computing platform consistent with the locale information corresponding to the application, and creates a droplet for the application that includes the configured runtime executable file required by the application and is associated with the created script.

  • Patent number: 9476869
Abstract: Newly identified mammalian taste-cell-specific G protein-coupled receptors which function as hetero-oligomeric complexes in the sweet taste transduction pathway, and the genes and cDNA encoding said receptors are described. Specifically, T1R G protein-coupled receptors active in sweet taste signaling as hetero-oligomeric complexes, and the genes and cDNA encoding the same, are described, along with methods for isolating such genes and for isolating and expressing such receptors. Methods for identifying putative taste modulating compounds using such hetero-oligomeric complexes also described, as is a novel surface expression facilitating peptide useful for targeting integral plasma membrane proteins to the surface of a cell.

  • Patent number: 9459250
Abstract: The invention relates to compounds that specifically bind a T1R1/T1R3 or T1R2/T1R3 receptor or fragments or sub-units thereof. The present invention also relates to the use of hetero-oligomeric and chimeric taste receptors comprising T1R1/T1R3 and T1R2/T1R3 in assays to identify compounds that respectively respond to umami taste stimuli and sweet taste stimuli. Further, the invention relates to the constitutive of cell lines that stably or transiently co-express a combination of T1R1 and T1R3; or T1R2 and T1R3; under constitutive or inducible conditions. The use of these cells lines in cell-based assays to identify umami and sweet taste modulatory compounds is also provided, particularly high throughput screening assays that detect receptor activity by use of fluorometric imaging.

  • Patent number: 9420034
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for providing a service to multiple tenants of an application. Responsive to receiving from a client of a tenant a request, a tenant context of the tenant is bound to the request. With respect to an access to an isolation point of the application in the request, the access to the isolation point is redirected to a partition based on the tenant context bound to the request. The partition may be pre-established for the tenant with respect to the application. Hence, it is possible to provide a multi-tenant solution in a convenient, fast, and cost-effective way, and, in turn, to achieve resource sharing to a greater extent and enhance the resource efficiency.

  • Publication number: 20160178135
Abstract: An LED tube lamp includes a lamp tube, which includes a light transmissive portion, a reinforcing portion and an end cap, and an LED light assembly, which includes an LED light source and an LED light strip. The light transmissive portion is fixedly connected to the reinforcing portion. The reinforcing portion includes a platform and a bracing structure fixedly connected to the platform and holds the platform in place. The bracing structure is made from a material having a greater stiffness than the material from which the lamp tube is made. The LED light source is thermally and electrically connected to the LED light strip, which is in turn thermally connected to the reinforcing portion. The end cap is attached to an end of the lamp tube. The light transmissive portion and the reinforcing portion define a first line between them on a cross section of the lamp tube.

  • Publication number: 20160178616
Abstract: The present invention relates to the discovery that the T1R receptors assemble to form functional taste receptors. Particularly, it has been discovered that co-expression of T1R1 and T1R3 results in a taste receptor that responds to umami taste stimuli, including monosodium glutamate. Also, it has been discovered that co-expression of the T1R2 and T1R3 receptors results in a taste receptor that responds to sweet taste stimuli including naturally occurring and artificial sweeteners. Also the present invention relates to the use of hetero-oligomeric taste receptors comprising T1R1/T1R3 and T1R2/T1R3 in assays to identify compounds that respectively respond to umami taste stimuli and sweet taste stimuli.

  • Patent number: 9374340
Abstract: First and second nested virtual private networks share a common rekey service. A first key server generates first cryptographic keys and policies for use by gateways of the VPN to encrypt and decrypt data packets. The key server establishes a connection with a second key server to generate second cryptographic keys and policies independently of the first key server for use by encryption units of a second VPN that is nested with and operates independently of the first VPN. The first key server refreshes the first cryptographic keys in the first VPN gateways using a common rekey service, and cooperates with the second key server to refresh the second cryptographic keys in the second VPN encryption units using the common rekey service.
