  • Patent number: 10246988
Abstract: Described is a system for position estimation. A set of raw sensor outputs are acquired from a sensor of a platform. The set of raw sensor outputs are stored in non-transitory memory. A set of optimized sensor measurements is generated by deducing errors in the raw sensor outputs using an unconstrained optimization algorithm. The system determines a position of the platform based on the set of optimized sensor measurements.

  • Publication number: 20190012156
Abstract: Technologies for network application programming include a computing device that analyzes a network application source program. The source program includes a declarative description of a network application in a domain-specific language, such as P4. The computing device translates the declarative description of the network application into a register-transfer level (RTL) description, and then compiles the RTL description into a bitstream definition that is targeted to an FPGA. For example, the computing device may generate a parse graph based on the network application source program, and then generate an RTL TCAM-SRAM structure for each node of the parse graph. The computing device may optimize the RTL description, for example by simplifying RTL structures or removing unused logic. The computing device may program an FPGA with the bitstream definition. Other embodiments are described and claimed.

  • Publication number: 20190007186
Abstract: Techniques directed to attributing information regarding communications with a modulation scheme to a different modulation scheme are described. In one example, a successful communication for a higher data rate modulation scheme may be attributed to a lower data rate modulation scheme. Such attribution may infer that the lower data rate modulation scheme would have also been successful if it had been used. In another example, an unsuccessful communication for a lower data rate modulation may be attributed to a higher data rate modulation scheme. Here, such attribution may infer that the higher data rate modulation scheme would have also been unsuccessful if it had been used.

  • Publication number: 20190001971
Abstract: A driving support apparatus according to the invention estimates the position of a moving body by controlling a position estimation unit when the tracking-target moving body leaves a first area or a second area to enter a blind spot area and detects the position of the moving body by controlling a position detection unit when the moving body leaves the blind spot area to enter the first area or the second area. In this manner, the trajectory of the tracking-target moving body is calculated so that the trajectory of the moving body detected in the first area or the second area and the trajectory of the moving body estimated in the blind spot area are continuous to each other and driving support is executed based on the calculated trajectory of the tracking-target moving body.

  • Patent number: 10128876
Abstract: A digital microwave radio system includes a splitter that splits a common baseband input into two baseband outputs, first and second transmitters, each transmitter electrically connected to a baseband output of the splitter via a mixer, a common local oscillator electrically connected to the mixer of the first transmitter and the mixer of the second transmitter via an adjustable phase shifter, respectively, and a combiner. The common local oscillator is configured to up-convert each baseband output into a radio-frequency signal using a corresponding mixer. The combiner combines the two radio-frequency signals into a 0-degree phase-shift output and a 180-degree phase-shift output, respectively. A phase error control loop adjusts the phase shifter to minimize the 180-degree phase-shift radio-frequency output. A combiner gain control loop adjusts the output power level of the two transmitters in accordance with an actual power detector reading at the 0-degree phase-shift radio-frequency output.
