  • Publication number: 20190135870
Abstract: Polypeptides are encoded by an adeno-associated virus (AAV)-derived endogenous viral element (mAAV-EVE1) found within the germline of numerous closely-related marsupial species. Nucleic acid molecules encode the polypeptides. Vectors can include the nucleic acid molecules, and recombinant AAV virions can include the polypeptides. A chimeric capsid protein can also include an MAAV-EVE1 polypeptide.

  • Patent number: 10196975
Abstract: A method of isolating a turbine shroud from propeller loads in an engine having an outer case with a mount defining a mount plane and an attachment location within the mount plane, the mount configured for attachment of the engine to an aircraft at the attachment location to transfer the propeller loads. The shaft of the engine is supported with a portion of the outer case extending from the mount and defining a load path for the propeller loads. The turbine support case is attached to extend free of the load path, by attaching the turbine support case to the outer case only through a connection along the plane, the connection defining a pivot point allowing a limited relative pivoting motion around the pivot point between the turbine support case and the mount. The turbine shroud is located by directly connecting it to the turbine support case.

Abstract: Embodiments are directed towards generating and managing schedules. In at least one of the various embodiments, these schedules may be configured to schedule team members, rotating which team member is active (“on-call”). In at least one of the various embodiments, these may be employed to determine which resource is responsible to respond and/or resolve incidents that may be reported and/or detected. In at least one of the various embodiments, if a team member is determined to be the on-call or responsible team member, the notification engine may determine the methods for notify the responsible of the incidents. Schedules previews may be updated in real-time as the schedule is edited.

  • Publication number: 20170216456
Abstract: Provided herein are methods for facilitating or inducing stable transgene integration and expression in a proliferating cell, comprising administering to the cell (i) a recombinant AAV (rAAV) vector comprising the transgene flanked by transposon-derived inverted terminal repeat sequences, which sequences are in turn flanked by AAV-derived inverted terminal repeat regions, and (ii) a source of a transposase that recognises said transposon-derived inverted terminal repeat sequences and directs the genomic integration of the transgene into the genome of the proliferating cell. Also provided are methods and transgene delivery systems for the treatment or prevention of diseases affecting, associated with or characterised by proliferating cells, including paediatric liver diseases, bone marrow diseases and cancer.
