  • Patent number: 10108150
Abstract: A computing system may process previous inputs from a user into at least one electronic device, the previous inputs including at least a first input indicating that the user has woken up and a second input indicating that the user has left a sleeping location. The computing system may predict a bed-to-door time duration between the user waking up and the user leaving the sleeping location based on the first input indicating that the user has woken up and the second input indicating that the user has left the sleeping location. The computing system may determine a wakeup time for the user based on the predicted bed-to-door time duration and a time at which the user should leave the sleeping location to arrive at the appointment on time. The computing system may cause the at least one electronic device to output an alarm at the determined wakeup time.

  • Publication number: 20180270211
Abstract: An extensible key management system includes a developer services portal for accessing an application. The system may identify initiation via the developer services portal of an association of the application with an external API of a third party provider service and automatically obtain a sub-key for the external API from the third party provider service on behalf of a developer of the application. The sub-key may be obtained in accordance with authorization provided by a master key previously provided from the third party provider service. The system may map an association between the sub-key, the application and the external API and store the association. Upon receipt of a service call message resulting from a request from a user device executing the application, the system may identify and replace a developer API key included in the service call message with the sub-key based on the stored association.

  • Publication number: 20180231588
Abstract: A coreless current probe has a body defining an opening. A conductor carrying a current to be measured can be accommodated in the opening. At least three coreless single point magnetic field sensors are distributed in or on the body around the opening. The sensors are arranged so that the sum of the outputs each with appropriate weighting is zero in any homogenous field and with no enclosed current. The sensors outputs have differing weightings so as to maximize rejection by the probe of external magnetic fields.

  • Patent number: 10049319
Abstract: A method of assembling products selects first and second planar substrates, each having a plurality of articles respectively positioned on each substrate, which articles are to be assembled together. While one of the substrates moves at a generally linear speed, the other substrate moves in a spiral fashion through an assembly location such as a nip roller to thereby match their respective speeds, resulting alignment of respective articles for assembling of the two different types of articles together from two substrates having differing pitch placement of their respective articles thereon. The non-spiraling substrate is a plurality of flights of articles in an array, and the other substrate has a block of the other articles. Typically, the number of flights corresponds to the number of articles in the block.

  • Publication number: 20180221549
Abstract: The illustrative embodiments described herein are directed to a system and method for administering reduced pressure at a tissue site. The apparatus includes a reduced pressure source. The reduced pressure source generates a reduced pressure. The apparatus includes a tube having a plurality of lumens. The plurality of lumens includes at least one collection lumen. The reduced pressure source applies the reduced pressure to the tissue site through the plurality of lumens such that the at least one collection lumen receives fluid from the tissue site. The at least one collection lumen stores the fluid received from the tissue site.

  • Patent number: 10042685
Abstract: An extensible single point orchestration system receives service requests from applications. In dependence upon the service request a single third party provider service or multiple third party provider services is identified. When the single third party provider service is identified, the system dynamically adapts a core capability service, using a stored configuration entity, so as to set an appropriate message format and transmit a service call message to an external API of the identified single third party provider service. When multiple third party provider services are identified, the system dynamically adapts the core capability service, using another stored configuration entity, so as to set a respective appropriate message format for parallel data transmission of service call messages to each of the respective identified third party provider services and transmits the service call messages to respective external APIs of each of the third party provider services.
