Abstract: A reduced-pressure, wound closure system is presented that generates a closing force on a surface wound and optionally provides reduced pressure to a body cavity or tissue site. The sealed contracting member, when placed under reduced pressure, generates the closing force. One illustrative system includes a first attachment member and a second attachment member, a sealed contracting member coupled to the first attachment member and the second attachment member, and wherein the closing force is generated between the first attachment member and the second attachment member when reduced pressure is supplied to the sealed contracting member. Other systems and methods are presented.

Abstract: An extensible key management system includes a developer services portal for accessing an application. The system may identify initiation via the developer services portal of an association of the application with an external API of a third party provider service and automatically obtain a sub-key for the external API from the third party provider service on behalf of a developer of the application. The sub-key may be obtained in accordance with authorization provided by a master key previously provided from the third party provider service. The system may map an association between the sub-key, the application and the external API and store the association. Upon receipt of a service call message resulting from a request from a user device executing the application, the system may identify and replace a developer API key included in the service call message with the sub-key based on the stored association.

Abstract: Systems and methods for a feed upload for search entity based content selection include receiving a feed. The feed has feed items that include identification data, a feed item type, and an online action. The identification data and item type are used to identify a unique search entity that corresponds to a named entity in the physical world. An entity-action pair is generated based on the identified search entity.

Abstract: Nozzle for engine has coaxial arrangement of inner pilot and outer mains airblast fuel injectors and intermediate air-swirler passage sandwiched between the outer and inner air-swirler passages of the pilot and mains airblast fuel injectors, respectively. The nozzle has an annular first-splitter wall separating the pilot outer air-swirler passage from the intermediate one. An outer surface profile of the first-splitter wall defines radially inner side of the intermediate air-swirler passage. The nozzle has an annular second-splitter wall separating the intermediate air-swirler passage from mains inner air-swirler passage. An inner surface profile of second-splitter wall defines radially outer side of intermediate air-swirler passage. The outer and inner surface profile of the first and second splitters walls, respectively, have convergent sections facing each other forming convergent portion of the intermediate air-swirler passage.

Abstract: Anonymous containers are discussed herein. An operating system running on a computing device, also referred to herein as a host operating system running on a host device, prevents an application from accessing personal information (e.g., user information or corporate information) by activating an anonymous container that is isolated from the host operating system. In order to create and activate the anonymous container, a container manager anonymizes the configuration and settings data of the host operating system, and injects the anonymous configuration and settings data into the anonymous container. Such anonymous configuration and settings data may include, by way of example and not limitation, application data, machine configuration data, and user settings data. The host operating system then allows the application to run in the anonymous container.

Abstract: A system and method is provided for identifying an object along a road, where the object may be represented by a bounding box, and projecting a set of obstacle points within the bounding box corresponding to the identified object. In one aspect, a two-dimensional plane oriented perpendicular to a direction of the movement of the vehicle may be identified. In another aspect, the areas of the plane that may be occupied based on the set of obstacle points may be determined to generate a contour of the identified object. Thereafter, the height profiles of the identified object and the vehicle may be determined and identified, respectively. Based on the height profiles, a minimum clearance may be determined.

Abstract: Tools and techniques are provided for assessing spill risk in a liquid container storage area of a facility. In one embodiment, a process includes identifying a largest capacity liquid storage container stored in the area; applying a computer-implemented algorithm for calculating a spill reach value for the largest capacity container, and calculating various kinds of risk facet values associated with the area; and generating a risk assessment summary associated with the calculated values. An improvement path can be determined in response to the calculated values, and the liquid storage area may be physically modified to reduce spill risks in the area.

Abstract: Systems and methods of this disclosure are directed to optimizing a content selector executing on content selection infrastructure. An entity engine retrieves a search query report with queries corresponding to selected content items of a content campaign and a performance metric for each query. The entity engine determines an entity for each of the queries. A cluster engine generates a first subset of the queries and a second subset of the queries based on the entity for each query. The cluster engine generates a first performance metric for the first subset and a second performance metric for the second subset. An interface displays the first performance metric and the second performance metric. A campaign generator receives a selection of a semantic criterion based on the first subset and updates the content campaign to include the semantic criterion.

Abstract: A coreless current probe has a body defining an opening in a plane and a central line through the opening which is normal to the plane. A conductor carrying a current to be measured can be accommodated in the opening. At least three coreless single point magnetic field sensors are distributed in the body around the opening. The linear spacings between adjacent sensors around the opening are not all the same. In another embodiment, the sensors are not all located on a common cylindrical surface. One embodiment has a U-shaped body enabling engagement with a current carrying conductor. The sensors are arranged so that the sum of the outputs each with appropriate weighting is zero in any homogenous field. The sensors outputs have differing weightings so as to maximize rejection by the probe of external magnetic fields.

Abstract: A device has a secure element including a memory that stores at least one address, a set of rules, and a state of an asset. A processor is configured for receiving a request to change the state of the asset associated with the address, validating the request in the case where changing the state of the asset according to the request complies with the set of rules, and invalidating the request in the case where changing the state of the asset according to the request violates the set of rules. A communications module is coupled to the secure element for transmitting information responsive to the request to a distributed network of peer processors for recording a change in the state of the asset in a distributed electronic ledger in the case where the secure element validates the request.

Abstract: A system has a storage medium encoded with program instructions, and a processor coupled to access the program instructions. The instructions configure the processor for: receiving a first request at a POS terminal to surrender a previously purchased first asset in exchange for at least a portion of a second asset that was used to purchase the first asset, receiving the private key from the first asset; accessing a set of rules stored in a distributed electronic ledger, the set of rules specifying conditions associated with the first request; transmitting an authorization to return the at least a portion of the second asset in exchange for surrender of the first asset, in the case where the conditions are satisfied; and invalidating the first request in the case where one or more of the conditions are not satisfied.

Abstract: Systems and methods provided for testing remote frequency identification (RFID) straps on a web. Testing system includes a test head having a pair of contact pins configured to be moved toward the web (or configured to make contact with web moved towards them) and into contact with the web or RFID strap. Conveyor continuously moves the web to move individual RFID straps into and out of alignment with the test head. Controller causes the contact pins to move toward the web at a frequency that's greater than the frequency at which the conveyor moves consecutive RFID straps into alignment with the test head. Alternatively or additionally, the test head may have a mount formed of a compliant material that allows at least a portion of the test head to deflect while the contact pins are in contact with a continuously moving RFID strap, thereby maintaining contact between contact pins and strap.

Abstract: An apparatus for use in a digital asset tracking system includes a storage device and a processor coupled to the storage device. The storage device stores software instructions for controlling the processor that when executed by the processor configure the processor to receive a signal representing a request comprising a first transfer from a first digital container associated with a first client to a second digital container associated with a second client. A value of the first transfer is compared to a total value in one or more accounts associated with the first client. At least one of the one or more accounts associated with the first client has a value in a first currency. A first draft is generated from a first account to an account associated with the second client. The first draft comprises a value in a second currency equivalent to the value of the first transfer.
