Abstract: A method for delivering media content to one or more clients over a distributed system is disclosed. The method may include generating a plurality of network-coded symbols from a plurality of original symbols representing a first media asset. The method may further include generating an original plurality of coded variants of the first media asset. The method may further include distributing a first coded variant of the original plurality of coded variants to a first cache on a first server device for storage in the first cache. The method may further include distributing a second coded variant of the original plurality of coded variants to a second cache on a second server device for storage in the second cache.

Abstract: A vehicle ECU receives an ECU update package from a remote source. The ECU verifies a first timestamp included with the ECU update package postdates a second timestamp stored onboard the vehicle in conjunction with a last-successful update of the ECU and obtains a unique vehicle identifier from the vehicle bus. The ECU obtains secure configuration data for the ECU included in a payload of the update package and calculates a first hash value using at least the unique vehicle identifier and the secure configuration data. Also, the ECU validates the update package based on comparison of the first hash value matching a second hash value included in the update package and, responsive to the first timestamp post-dating the second timestamp and validation of the update package, modifies the ECU through use of the secure configuration data.

Abstract: Systems and methods for aggregating data. The system is configured to receive metadata from an interactive graphical user interface (GUI) of a user device, aggregate field values from the data stored on one or more databases based on the received metadata and generate filter instructions based on the received metadata. The system is further configured to transmit the aggregated field values and the filter instructions to the user device, receive a user-customized filter set and subscription request for a synthetic symbol associated with the user-customized filter set from the user device, and create the synthetic symbol responsive to the subscription request. Moreover, the system aggregates one or more data values from the data stored on the databases associated with the created synthetic symbol and generates instructions to display the data values on the interactive GUI in accordance with the user-customized filter set associated with the created synthetic symbol.

Abstract: A system for testing-configuring one or more vehicles includes a task communication module obtaining a task data packet having a selected software-based task to be performed on a selected vehicle, where a task command identifier identifying the task, a command matching module selecting a predefined task command from among a set of stored task commands based on the task command identifier where the predefined task command executes either a selected standardized protocol (i.e., a set of locally stored instructions) or a selected customized protocol to perform the task (i.e., a set of bypass instructions to retrieve a selected script file having a set of customizable instructions), and a command execution module executing the selected standard protocol in response to the predefined task command being the selected standard protocol, and executing the selected customized protocol employing the selected script file based on the predefined task command being the selected customized protocol.

Abstract: A method including receiving, from a server, a backoff data packet including first information and second information. The first information includes a backoff command to cease transmitting at least some requests to a service executing on the server, and The second information includes metadata. The method also includes adding the backoff data packet to cached data stored in a cache. The method also includes receiving, from a client, a request data packet including a request for the service. The method also includes comparing request information, associated with the request data packet, to the cached data, including at least comparing the request information to the metadata. The method also includes blocking, responsive to a match between the request information and the cached data, the request data packet from being transmitted to the service.

Abstract: A fluid source comprises a connector assembly for connecting a fluid supply device to either a first therapy device or to a second therapy device. A controller automatically provides a first configuration of a user interface associated with a first therapy when a supply connector is operatively coupled to the first therapy device and provides a second configuration of the user interface associated with a second therapy, different than the first configuration, when the supply connector is operatively coupled to the second therapy device. A hanger assembly is provided to hang the fluid source on different support structures. The fluid source also comprises a housing with a watershed region to shed liquid away from the user interface.

Abstract: Embodiments described herein provide a solution to the measurement of various dystrophins expressed in a cell or tissue. The solution to this problem is a specific and sensitive quantitative method to measure endogenous and/or exogenous dystrophin (e.g., engineered dystrophin) expression in skeletal muscle tissue, which provides a substantial benefit to drug development and monitoring of treatment.

Abstract: The present disclosure relates to managing services by a managed service provider (MSP) in a cloud based infrastructure. A control plane of the MSP is established in a first tenancy, and a first access plane of the MSP is established in a second tenancy of a cloud environment. The control plane is configured to manage a plurality of services offered by the MSP to a first host machine included in the second tenancy. A first request is transmitted from the control plane to the first access plane, where the first request is forwarded by the first access plane to the first host machine, and corresponds to a service utilized by the first host machine and managed by the control plane of the MSP. In response to the first request being validated, a first state of the first host machine is modified in the second tenancy based on the first request.

Abstract: Described are systems and methods to provide agnostic sensor data obtained from a sensor and transmitted to a central database by a transmitter device. In one aspect, a value sensed by a sensor component is converted at the transmitter device to an agnostic value defined by a dimensionless universal scale and offset. The agnostic value is then sent to a data acquisition database where it is converted back to the original value. This is accomplished by first providing the data acquisition database with a sensor definition of a scale and offset used to convert the sensor values in addition to any sensor indicia and other parameters to display the data acquired at the data acquisition database. The wireless sensors database and user interface are also automatically updated when a new sensor type is attached to the network utilizing configuration data that resides in the new sensor that is sent to the database on its first connection.
