    Abstract: A scanning probe microscope of the present disclosure includes: a room-temperature bore superconducting magnet including a liquid helium-consumption free closed-cycle cooling system, a superconducting magnet, and a chamber having a room-temperature bore; and a scanning probe microscope including a scanning head, a vacuum chamber, and a vibration isolation platform; and a computer control system. The room-temperature bore superconducting magnet is cooled by the cryogen-free closed-cycle cooling system which eliminates the dependence on liquid helium for high magnetic field operation. There is no physical contact between the scanning probe microscope and the superconducting magnet connected to the closed-cycle cooling system. The scanning probe microscope can achieve atomic-scale spatial resolution. The temperature of the scanning probe microscope is not restricted by the low temperature conditions for operation of the superconducting magnet.

    Abstract: The present disclosure relates to the technical field of cryogenic cooling. In particular, the present disclosure relates to a mechanical vibration-isolated, liquid helium consumption-free cryogenic cooling device. The system according to some embodiments of the present disclosure comprises: a closed-cycle cryogenic cooling system, a helium heat exchange gas cooling and vibration isolation interface system, a cryogenic throttle valve cooling system, and a temperature feedback control system. The cryogenic cooling system provided by the present disclosure can achieve extremely low temperatures, as low as 1.4 K (based on helium-4 medium) or 0.2 K (based on helium-3 medium) without the need for the consumption of liquid helium. The disclosed cooling system can also efficiently isolate intrinsic mechanical vibrations of the closed-cycle cooling system. The disclosed cooling system can achieve variable temperature regulation through the temperature feedback control system.

    Abstract: A fingerprint identification apparatus, a method for fabricating a cover and a terminal device are provided. A plurality of optical channels are arranged in the body of the cover, such that the light reflected by an object to be identified is as much as possible linearly transmitted to the photosensitive region in the image identification chip and the intensity of the light received by the image identification chip is maximized. This is favorable to form a clear image, and thus the precision of fingerprint identification of the fingerprint identification apparatus is improved. In addition, in the fingerprint identification apparatus, under the condition of satisfying the signal penetration rate, the cover may be as thick as possible, to further enhance the strength and reliability of the cover.

    Abstract: The present invention relates to fusion proteins for the expression of G-protein coupled receptor proteins (GPCR) with the fusion partners, as inserted fragments, from mammalian cells. The fusion partners are from a fragment of APJ protein (“the APJ protein fragment”) or a fragment with homology of more than 90% similarity to the APJ protein fragment; or a fragment of RGS16 protein (the “RGS16 protein fragment”) or a fragment with homology of more than 90% similarity to the RGS16 protein fragment; or the fragment of DNJ protein (the “DNJ protein fragment”) or a fragment with homology of more than 90% similarity to DNJ protein fragment. The fusion expression of GPCR with the above mentioned fusion partners can improve the protein yield and stability when purified from cells. Therefore, these fusion protein partners can be widely used for the study of GPCR proteins.

In another aspect, the PCIe host defines a second configuration parameter different from the first configuration parameter for the attached PCIe endpoint if the temporal distance is less than or equal to the predetermined threshold value. By differentiating the attached PCIe endpoints based on temporal distances, the PCIe host can support compatibly a plurality of attached PCIe endpoints regardless of physical connection distances with the attached PCIe endpoints.
