    Abstract: A method for fabricating a light emitting diode (LED) is provided. Successively forming a first type doped semiconductor layer, a light emitting layer and a second type doped semiconductor layer on an epitaxy substrate; forming a bonding layer thereon; bonding a transferring substrate with the bonding layer; removing the epitaxy substrate; removing a part of the first type doped semiconductor layer, the light emitting layer and the second type doped semiconductor layer for exposing a part of the bonding layer; patterning the bonding layer to form a first and a second bonding portion isolated from each other, wherein the first type doped semiconductor layer, the light emitting layer and the second type doped semiconductor layer are disposed on the first bonding portion; forming a pad on the first type doped semiconductor layer; and forming a conducting wire for electrically connecting the pad and the second bonding portion.

The method is very simple to implement and the equivalent circuit model obtained has an apparent physical meaning.

    Abstract: A method for implementing a short message automatically answering service in mobile network is disclosed. An automatically answering content and a valid period for the automatically answer are pre-configured by a user. During the valid period, when a short message is sent to the user, the short message center may automatically answer the short message according to the content pre-configured by the user without any intervention. The method provides a more convenient service by automatically notifying the sender through the message pre-configured by the user, which can be applied to any situations when the user cannot receive a short message due to various reasons, and cannot be communicated through the short messages in a normal way. As the method requires only a little enhancement to the function of the short message center without essential modification to the terminal software, the implementation is easy therefore.

    Abstract: A method of aligning a TFT plate and a color filter plate of a liquid crystal display is described. The TFT plate has a capacity storage area formed thereon. The capacity storage area is designed within a black matrix area on the color filter plate. After a rubbing process, a bump in the capacity storage area of the TFT plate causes a first abnormal rubbing area, which is adjacent to a side of the bump. The color filter plate is shifted first, so that the first abnormal rubbing area is covered with a black matrix in the black matrix area on the color filter plate. The TFT plate is then aligned with the color filter plate. As a result, corner image sticking in a frame of the liquid crystal display is avoided.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a unique method, apparatus, system and storage medium for image binarization process, wherein an image to be processed is divided into a plurality of sub-images and an binarization threshold for each of the sub-images is determined based on the gray-levels of the edge pixels detected in respective sub-image. The image processing method of the present invention comprises: calculating a gray-level statistical distribution of pixels of an image, detecting edge pixels in an image based on an edge criterion corresponding to the gray-level statistical distribution, dividing the image into a plurality of sub-images; determining a binarization threshold for each of the sub-images based on the gray-levels of edge pixels detected in the sub-image; and performing binarization process for each of the sub-images based on the binarization threshold of the sub-image.

    Abstract: The present invention provides a color filter structure and a forming the same method. The structure comprises a transparent substrate, a black matrix and a plurality of color regions separated by the black matrix. The black matrix grid is formed by a plurality of horizontal black matrix strips crossing a plurality of vertical black matrix strips. These color regions are formed by red, green or blue color resin forming in corresponding matrix grids. In each matrix grid, the resin is positioned to cover a larger area on an adjacent vertical black matrix strip than to cover an area of the other adjacent vertical black matrix strip. The structure can prevent the problem of corner image sticking in a frame of the liquid crystal display device.

    Abstract: To produce a paused MPEG coded video stream from an original MPEG coded video stream, an I frame is extracted from the original stream, and a Group of Pictures for a “pause” (a pause GOP) is constructed containing the extracted I frame, some “frozen” frames, and padding. Each “frozen” frame is a P frame that repeats the I frame. When a pause is requested in the original stream, a seamless transition is made from the I frame to the pause GOP, and the pause GOP is played in a loop until a resume is requested. To resume, the pause GOP is completed and a seamless transition is made to continue in the original stream from the I frame where the pause had begun.

    Abstract: MPEG coded video data includes groups of pictures (GOPs). Each group of pictures includes one or more I-frames and a plurality of B- or P-frames. To produce an MPEG slow-forward coded video stream, the coding type of each frame in the MPEG coded video data is identified, and freeze frames are inserted as a predefined function of the identified coding type and as a predefined function of a desired slow down factor. In a preferred implementation, for a slow-down factor of n, for each original I- or P-frame, (n?1) backward-predicted freeze frames are inserted, and for each original B-frame, (n?1) copies of the original B-frames are added, and a selected amount of padding is added to each copy of each original B-frame in order to obtain a normal play bit rate and avoid video buffer overflow or underflow.
