  • Publication number: 20210205365
Abstract: Adoptive cell therapy involves the transfer of autologous or allogeneic cells to patients in an effort to treat a variety of diseases. In the area of immunotherapy, tumour specific T-cells can be grown ex vivo, or engrafted with tumour specificity via genetic engineering approaches, prior to reinfusion. T-cell infusions require a pre-conditioning treatment, and often a post infusion treatment of IL-2, in an effort to enhance persistence and engraftment. Herein Applicants show that T-cells can be engineered to express a Chimeric recombinant Growth Factor Receptor (CrGFR) which allows the selective survival and/or expansion of T-cells upon administration of a clinically available drug, Eltrombopag.

  • Patent number: 11049146
Abstract: An online system receives a discount offer from a merchant and displays the offers to users. Some of the discount offers provide for a discount that becomes valid when the discount offer is displayed to the user and remains valid for an offer duration. To implement these discount offers, a timestamp representing the time at which the discount offer is displayed is recorded and encoded. The encoded timestamp is provided to the merchant system when the user makes a purchase. The merchant extracts the recorded timestamp from the encoded timestamp and compares the recorded timestamp to the time of the purchase. If the time elapsed between the timestamp and the purchase is less than the offer duration, then the merchant system applies the discount to the purchase.

  • Patent number: 11031215
Abstract: A processing chamber such as a plasma etch chamber can perform deposition and etch operations, where byproducts of the deposition and etch operations can build up in a vacuum pump system fluidly coupled to the processing chamber. A vacuum pump system may have multiple roughing pumps so that etch gases can be diverted a roughing pump and deposition precursors can be diverted to another roughing pump. A divert line may route unused deposition precursors through a separate roughing pump. Deposition byproducts can be prevented from forming by incorporating one or more gas ejectors or venturi pumps at an outlet of a primary pump in a vacuum pump system. Cleaning operations, such as waferless automated cleaning operations, using certain clean chemistries may remove deposition byproducts before or after etch operations.

  • Patent number: 11003450
Abstract: A vector data transfer instruction is provided for triggering a data transfer between storage locations corresponding to a contiguous block of addresses and multiple data elements of at least one vector register. The instruction specifies a start address of the contiguous block using a base register and an immediate offset value specifies as a multiple of the size of the contiguous block of addresses. This is useful for loop unrolling which can help to improve performance of vectorised code by combining multiple iterations of a loop into a single iteration of an unrolled loop, to reduce the loop control overhead.

  • Patent number: 11002160
Abstract: A cam follower assembly includes a cam roller, and a generally cylindrical body having an outer peripheral surface configured to be reciprocally slidable within a bore of an engine component. The cam roller is rotatably mounted on the body and configured to engage with a cam lobe on a camshaft of the engine. The cam lobe is operative to drive the body to a position at which the cam follower assembly causes one of opening of a valve or actuation of a fuel injector of the engine. A groove is formed in the body inset from the outer peripheral surface and extending axially along the outer peripheral surface parallel to the longitudinal axis of the body and aligned with an axial median plane of the cam roller and the cam lobe.

  • Patent number: 10984448
Abstract: An online system receives a discount offer from a merchant and displays the offer to a user before the offer's start time. The online system also defines one or more triggering conditions and sends a notification to remind the user about the discount offer when a triggering condition is satisfied. One of the triggering conditions can be based on whether the user has accessed a web page provided by the merchant. The merchant system provides a web page that sends an indication to the online system when the user accesses the web page. After receiving the indication, the online system sends a notification about the discount offer to the user. Sending the notification in this manner has the effect of reminding the user of the discount offer after the user has already expressed an interest in the merchant and its products by viewing the merchant web page.
