  • Patent number: 12383998
Abstract: A steady rest has working and right-hand cover plates and a central plate sandwiched there between. The working cover plate has upper and lower guide tracks and track engagement springs that are received within cavities. The central plate is movably disposed between the working and right-hand cover plates. The central plate slidably engages upper and lower gripping arms that are movable relative to the working cover plate between a clamped position and a retracted position. Tapered rails and rail engagement springs are disposed in a rail recess of the working cover plate. The rails are movable relative to each other to finely and precisely adjust a position at which the workpiece is clamped and moved horizontally or vertically when the gripping arms are in the clamped position. The track and rail engagement springs share common mechanical properties for ready interchange, thereby alleviating inventory concerns.

  • Patent number: 12387206
Abstract: Systems and methods for secure virtualized intermediated configuration and control of payment processing peripheral devices, as may be embodied in a SNIPP system, are provided. Such systems and methods enable the request of purchaser payment information from payment processing peripheral device(s) on behalf of a POS system and the aggregation and association of that purchaser payment information with a corresponding purchase transaction received from the POS system. The purchase transaction and the payment transaction are aggregated and thereby associated; and the resulting aggregated payment transaction is submitted to an electronic payments processing facility that responds with a confirmation indicating ‘acceptance’ or ‘denial’ of the payment transaction. The confirmation is relayed to the POS system and possibly to the payment processing peripheral device(s) such that it may be displayed to the purchaser and/or an attendant.

  • Patent number: 12383018
Abstract: An article of footwear with an upper having a knitted component in an instep region extending between lateral and medial sides. Outer lace apertures and inner lace apertures are disposed along the instep area on the lateral and medial sides, where inner lace apertures are located more inward towards a middle of the upper than outer lace apertures. A lace extends through an inner lace aperture from an exterior surface on the medial side of the upper, along an interior surface of the upper, and then exits the upper through an outer lace aperture on the medial side. After exiting the outer lace aperture on the medial side, the lace extends across the instep area along the exterior surface of the upper and extends through an inner lace aperture on the lateral side.

  • Patent number: 12386056
Abstract: A safety sensing system implements a method for a person in an industrial environment comprises providing a personnel locator device (10) for location on a person and a reference system comprising a plurality of nodes (20) located at predetermined locations in the industrial environment (100). Radio ranging signals are transmitted between the nodes (20) and the personnel locator device (10) and measurements of times of flight of the radio ranging signals are derived. The location of the personnel locator device (10) is calculated based on the measurements of the times of flight of the radio ranging signals and reference information representing the predetermined locations of the nodes (10). It is determined if the calculated location of the personnel locator device (10) is within one or more danger zones in the industrial environment (100) and a warning signal is output in response thereto.
