  • Publication number: 20220121664
Abstract: Systems and techniques are provided for forecasting for time series with limited data. A computing device may determine a distance between the long-term time series or section and a short-term time series may be determined for each long-term time series and section in a repository. The computing device may determine which of the long-term time series and sections from the repository has the shortest distance between that long-term series or section and the short-term time series. The computing device may generate forecasted data points for the short-term time series based on the long-term time series or section determined to have the shortest distance between that long-term time series or section and the short-term time series. The computing device may store the forecasted data points for the short-term time series with the short-term time series.

  • Patent number: 11279975
Abstract: Provided herein is a method for sequencing a polynucleotide molecules. The method includes the steps of providing a plurality of polynucleotide molecules attached to a surface, wherein a first portion of each polynucleotide molecule is attached to a first location of the surface and a second portion of each polynucleotide molecule is attached to a second location of the surface, the relative proximity of the first and second locations being correlated with the probability that the first and second portions are paired, separating the first and second portions of the polynucleotide molecules on the surface, determining the sequences of the first and second portions of the polynucleotide molecules and comparing the relative proximities and the sequences to determine which first and second portions are paired and to determine the sequence of the target polynucleotide molecules.

  • Patent number: 11254976
Abstract: A method including (a) providing an amplification reagent including an array of sites, and a solution having different target nucleic acids; and (b) reacting the amplification reagent to produce amplification sites each having a clonal population of amplicons from a target nucleic acid from the solution. The reacting can include simultaneously transporting the nucleic acids to the sites at an average transport rate, and amplifying the nucleic acids that transport to the sites at an average amplification rate, wherein the average amplification rate exceeds the average transport rate. The reacting can include producing a first amplicon from a nucleic acid that transports to each of the sites, and producing subsequent amplicons from the nucleic acid or from the first amplicon, wherein the average rate at which the subsequent amplicons are generated exceeds the average rate at which the first amplicon is generated.

  • Publication number: 20220049288
Abstract: The present invention relates to methods of imaging template hybridisation for estimating cluster numbers prior to solid phase amplification and sequencing. More particularly, an initial round of imaging is carried out at the single molecule template hybridisation stage which allows a general estimation of cluster numbers prior to clusters being formed. Amplification of the signal allows single molecule imaging to be carried out using standard sequencing imaging apparatus.

  • Publication number: 20220047335
Abstract: A navigation system includes a first and second tracker supports independently affixed to a rigid object and separated by a distance. A first plurality of trackable elements are secured to the first tracker support and a second plurality of trackable elements are secured to the second tracker support. A localizer tracks the trackable elements and controller(s) define a tracking arrangement to be tracked based on a combination of the first and second plurality of trackable elements. A geometry of the tracking arrangement is registered relative to the rigid object and the controller(s) track the rigid object by detecting the registered geometry. The controller(s) identify a condition wherein at least one trackable element has been displaced relative to the registered geometry, and in response, generate an instruction to a manipulator controller to interrupt operation of a robotic manipulator.

  • Publication number: 20210387577
Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus with magnets of a unique configuration to secure devices to non-ferromagnetic material, such as the windshield of a car. The invention permits the perimeter structure of the non-ferrous material to optionally be used to provide additional stability to secured devices. At least two magnets clamp opposite sides of the non-ferromagnetic material, magnetically associating the two magnets. The magnets are of a shape conducive to avoiding collision with windshield wipers, when mounted onto a car windshield, while maintaining sufficient volume to provide acceptable magnetic force to support devices mechanically attached to magnets.
