  • Patent number: 7325506
Abstract: In an outboard motor control system, equipped with two outboard motors and actuators for steering, changing shift position and regulating engine speed, two navigation units responsive to operations of the operator for producing outputs indicative of actuator operation commands, two ECUs that control the operation of the actuators based on the outputs from the navigation units, an output forwarding ECU which forwards the outputs of one of the navigation units to the ECUs, and two switchover buttons for changing the outputs to be forwarded. Therefore, only the set of outputs for the one navigation unit selected by the operator is sent to the ECUs. In other words, in the case where multiple navigation units are provided, use of the navigation units is limited to a desired one thereof, so that the outboard motors can be stably controlled even when the control inputs to the individual navigation units are different.

  • Patent number: 7318274
Abstract: A method is provided for fitting waterproof seals onto outer peripheries of end portions of electric wires. The method feeds seals along the axis line of the wire and into a seal cavity. A passage forming member forms a feeding passage to feed the seal into the seal cavity with a posture to receive the electric wire. The seal then is locked in the seal cavity. The wire then is moved along the axis line and into the seal.

  • Patent number: 7278124
Abstract: An impedance of a power supply wire is calculated based on design data of a semiconductor integrated circuit, a frequency characteristic of the calculated impedance is obtained, and a design of the semiconductor integrated circuit is changed based on the obtained frequency characteristic. As the above-described impedance, an impedance between power supplies that are different in potential such as a power supply and a ground may be calculated, or an impedance between power supplies that are substantially the same in potential such as a power supply and an N-well power supply may be calculated. By a design modification, a wiring method, the number of pads, separation of power supplies, a type of package, a characteristic of an inductance element, a substrate structure, a distance between wires, a decoupling capacitance, a length of a wire, and a characteristic of a resistance element, for example, are changed.

  • Publication number: 20070207283
Abstract: The present invention offers resin-coated metal plates that prevent wicket scars from occurring during processes of varnish, print and dry, and there are few scars on the resin-coated surface, the inner surface side of the can and that have superior corrosion resistance and workability, and drawn cans using these metal plates. Therefore, resin film that is applied to the metal plates, is comprised of two layers of a crystallized saturated polyester resin layer [A] and a layer composed of resin [B] that is comprised of saturated polyester resin (i) and ionomer resin (ii), wherein the layer composed of resin [B] is laminated on the above-mentioned metal plate to tightly contact with it, and on the polar surface of the saturated polyester resin layer that is crystallized [A] a highly crystallized layer (X) is formed. The drawn can 10 of the present invention is formed using the resin-coated metal plate 11.

  • Publication number: 20070162997
Abstract: QTL analysis on the resistance to Fusarium head blight is performed by using an RI line (RHI population) grown by crossing Russia 6 (two-row, resistant) with H.E.S.4 (six-row, susceptible), an RI line (RI2 population) grown by crossing Harbin 2-row (resistant) with Turkey 6 (susceptible), and a DH line (DHHS population) grown by crossing Haruna Nijo (resistance) with H602 (susceptible). As a result, QTLs are detected on the 2H, 4H and 5H chromosomes in the RHI population, on the 2H, 4H and 6H chromosomes in the RI2 population and on the 2H, 4H and 5H chromosomes in the DHHS population. Furthermore, genetic markers linked to these QTLs (MM314, FM677, FM426, MM1057, MMtgaEatc128, FMgcgEatc 530, FXLRRfor_XLRRrev119, FMacgEcgt288, HVM67, FMataEagc408, HVM11, Bmag125, k04002, k05042, k03289, HvLOX and k00835) are found out.

  • Patent number: 7220477
Abstract: A film for lamination comprising a polyester resin containing a polyfunctional component in an amount of 0.01 to 0.50 mol % and having a melt tension of not smaller than 50 mN. Even when laminated on a metal plate by a high-speed extrusion lamination method, the film can be applied onto the metal plate maintaining a uniform thickness and good adhesiveness without undergoing oscillation or pulsation. Being blended with a copolymerizable component in an amount of 10 to 20 mol %, in particular, the laminated member coated with the film features excellent adhesiveness of the coating. By further laminating a layer of another polyester resin on the above film, the flavor-retaining property can be imparted as well.

  • Publication number: 20070105103
Abstract: In fabricating various types of arrays such as a micro array, different kinds of biosubstances, or synthetic substances interacting with the biosubstances, are arranged and immobilized on a support such that the chromosomal order of base sequence blocks, corresponding to the biosubstances, is ascertainable. The biosubstances may be nucleic acids such as DNA, or polypeptides such as protein. The synthetic substances may be compounds that react with the biosubstances. By thus specifying the order of the biosubstances or synthetic substances immobilized on the support, the array can be used, for example, for screening in variety improvement of living organisms.

  • Patent number: 7143755
Abstract: In an air/fuel ratio control system for an outboard motor engine, a learned correction coefficient KTIMn used in open-loop control for correcting a basic fuel injection amount to be supplied to the engine, is updated only when the manifold absolute pressure PBA (indicative of engine load) is within a predetermined range relative to the engine speed NE concerned. As a result, the air/fuel ratio can be accurately controlled to one other than the stoichiometric air/fuel ratio, even when an O2 sensor that produces an output whose property only changes near the stoichiometeic air/fuel ratio is used.
