Abstract: In an outboard motor control system, equipped with two outboard motors and actuators for steering, changing shift position and regulating engine speed, two navigation units responsive to operations of the operator for producing outputs indicative of actuator operation commands, two ECUs that control the operation of the actuators based on the outputs from the navigation units, an output forwarding ECU which forwards the outputs of one of the navigation units to the ECUs, and two switchover buttons for changing the outputs to be forwarded. Therefore, only the set of outputs for the one navigation unit selected by the operator is sent to the ECUs. In other words, in the case where multiple navigation units are provided, use of the navigation units is limited to a desired one thereof, so that the outboard motors can be stably controlled even when the control inputs to the individual navigation units are different.

Abstract: A camera according to the present invention can use a captured image of a communication target device to identify the communication target device when transmitting data to the outside. The camera includes a formatting section for converting transmission data to a format suitable for transmission to the communication target device identified.

Abstract: A film for lamination comprising a polyester resin containing a polyfunctional component in an amount of 0.01 to 0.50 mol % and having a melt tension of not smaller than 50 mN. Even when laminated on a metal plate by a high-speed extrusion lamination method, the film can be applied onto the metal plate maintaining a uniform thickness and good adhesiveness without undergoing oscillation or pulsation. Being blended with a copolymerizable component in an amount of 10 to 20 mol %, in particular, the laminated member coated with the film features excellent adhesiveness of the coating. By further laminating a layer of another polyester resin on the above film, the flavor-retaining property can be imparted as well.

Abstract: A display apparatus of the present invention has a display section for displaying a plurality of groups of images on the same screen on a group basis. The display apparatus allows a user to select a desired group from the plurality of groups with the operation of a selection instruction section. When the user instructs image switching, only the images in the selected group is switched. Thus, the user can retrieve a target image efficiently from the groups of images managed on a group basis.

Abstract: In an air/fuel ratio control system for an outboard motor engine, a learned correction coefficient KTIMn used in open-loop control for correcting a basic fuel injection amount to be supplied to the engine, is updated only when the manifold absolute pressure PBA (indicative of engine load) is within a predetermined range relative to the engine speed NE concerned. As a result, the air/fuel ratio can be accurately controlled to one other than the stoichiometric air/fuel ratio, even when an O2 sensor that produces an output whose property only changes near the stoichiometeic air/fuel ratio is used.

Abstract: A dimethyl terephthalate composition includes 0.001 to 200 ppm of methyl 4-(1,3-dioxolan-2-yl)benzoate and 0 to 1 ppm of dimethyl hydroxyterephthalate contained in dimethyl terephthalate, and exhibits improved properties as a material for producing polyester.

Abstract: In a digital platform apparatus of the present invention, a position of a camera mounted on a screen in a display unit is detected by a position detection unit, and image data is transferred from the camera via a communication unit in accordance with a predetermined instruction operation. The transferred image data is supplied from a control unit to a projector via a display control unit. When the image data is transferred, the transferred image is displayed on the screen from the projector. All image data recorded in the camera is displayed in a demagnified form in the vicinity of the camera, and when image data specified by a predetermined operation is transferred into a recording area, a demagnified image of the transferred image data is displayed in the vicinity of the recording area.

Abstract: The bedding of the present invention comprises a sealed bag body having an elastic body with a plurality of continuous pores and gas sealed with looseness present in the upper part of the elastic body. The bedding also includes a water-sealed bag body disposed on an upper part of the bag body, the water-sealed bag body having an elastic body with a plurality of continuous pores and liquid sealed therein. The elastic body within the water-sealed bag body has upper and lower parts having looseness. This claimed bedding capable of providing comfortable sleep can be realized by uniformly supporting a human body, with the buoyancy of the liquid while reducing the amount of the liquid required therein.

Abstract: An electrophotographic developer comprising at least one element selected from the group consisting of boron and phosphorus in a content of 0.1 to 100 ppm, which the developer is excellent in flowability and shelf stability, does not give image defects such as occurrence of white stripes and attains almost constant image quality even when the ambient conditions including temperature and humidity fluctuate. The flame-retardant films 4a and 4b have an adhesive layer 5 formed thereon, and a plurality of the coated optical fibers 2 arranged in plane are integrated by the adhesive layer. The optical fiber ribbon 1 in this constitution uses flame-retardant films, wherein the ribbon thickness can be lowered and separation of single fiber can be facilitated by tearing off the film.

Abstract: A stripping process is provided which continuously strips volatile substances from a dispersion containing a polymer particles through stripping the volatile substances from a dispersion by blowing an inert gas into the dispersion to draw the volatile substances into the inert gas, removing the volatile substances from the gas mixture of the inert gas and the stripped volatile substances and circulating the purified inert gas obtained by removing the volatile substances from the gas mixture, and blowing the purified inert gas into the dispersion. Also provided is a production process for a toner which uses this stripping process.

Abstract: According to a template matching method, a matching value representing matching between a process area image and a target image is calculated by using the process area image in an arbitrary process area acquired from the edge image of an input image and template data representing the shape feature of the target image. The area of the target image in the input image is specified on the basis of the matching value. The template data is formed from positive points representing positions at which the edge of the target image exists in the process area and negative points representing positions at which no edge exists in the process area. The matching value is calculated in accordance with the positional relationship between the positive points, the negative points, and each edge present within the process area image. A target image area extraction apparatus is also disclosed.

Abstract: An impedance of a power supply wire is calculated based on design data of a semiconductor integrated circuit, a frequency characteristic of the calculated impedance is obtained, and a design of the semiconductor integrated circuit is changed based on the obtained frequency characteristic. As the above-described impedance, an impedance between power supplies that are different in potential such as a power supply and a ground may be calculated, or an impedance between power supplies that are substantially the same in potential such as a power supply and an N-well power supply may be calculated. By a design modification, a wiring method, the number of pads, separation of power supplies, a type of package, a characteristic of an inductance element, a substrate structure, a distance between wires, a decoupling capacitance, a length of a wire, and a characteristic of a resistance element, for example, are changed.

Abstract: Based on design data of a semiconductor integrated circuit, an impedance related to a power supply wire is calculated, and based on the calculated impedance, a frequency characteristic of power supply noise is analyzed. In calculation of an impedance, an impedance between power supplies which are different in potential, e.g., a main power supply and a ground, may be calculated. Alternatively, an impedance between power supplies which are substantially the same in potential, e.g., a main power supply and an N-well power supply, may be calculated. The calculated impedance includes a wire capacitance between power supply wires, a substrate resistance, an impedance of a package connected to the power supply wires, and so on. Thus, it is possible to provide a method for analyzing power supply noise of a semiconductor integrated circuit, which can be executed at an early stage of a design process with a small amount of calculation.

Abstract: In order to perform reliable acquisition of album names and song titles while a CD is played back, compressed in MP3 format and filtered. The TOC information of the CD is read out by a CD playback section of a playback/dubbing apparatus. This information is then sent from a system controller to a TOC album relevant information database via a network server and a network communication and corresponding album names and song titles are then acquired. In the case that corresponding contents information cannot be acquired at the database, the system controller reads out copyright information (ISRC code) of the CD using the CD playback section, searches databases of homepages for music companies or sales companies via the network server and the network communication based on this information, and acquires album names and song titles.
