  • Patent number: 8160531
Abstract: A receiving device is provided capable of avoiding reception of unnecessary energy when a signal waveform actually changes on a receiving side. An impedance control circuit includes a sensing unit to sense one or more of a voltage, current, or power of a signal to be received by a receiving circuit. The impedance control unit varies an input impedance according to the change in the sensed one or more quantities so that the received signal will be reflected. Thus the excess energy of the signal is reflected and fed to any other receiving circuit achieving stable communications.

  • Publication number: 20100177829
Abstract: A receiving device includes a receiving circuit and an impedance control circuit. The receiving circuit receives a signal transmitted through a communication line. The impedance control circuit is coupled with the receiving circuit and has a detecting part. The detecting part detects a physical value of the signal and the physical value includes at least one of a voltage, an electric current, and an electric power. The impedance control circuit changes an input impedance based on the detected value so that a ringing of the signal is reduced.

  • Publication number: 20100109466
Abstract: A rotor for an electric rotary machine and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed wherein none of permanent magnets is fixed to a magnetic supporting segment of a magnet support ring in advance and each permanent magnet is assembled separately of the magnet support ring. Prior to the assembling of the permanent magnets, the magnet support ring is preliminarily located on claw-shaped magnetic poles at inner peripheral sides thereof under a state combined with a pair of field iron cores, after which the permanent magnets are inserted to magnet insertion spaces in longitudinal directions. • Publication number: 20100071196
Abstract: There is disclosed a method of manufacturing a rotor for a dynamoelectric machine. The rotor includes a rotating shaft, a rotor core fixed on the rotating shaft, and a cooling fan fixed to an axial end face of the rotor core. The method includes the step of fixing the cooling fan to the axial end face of the rotor core by resistance welding. The method is characterized in that in the resistance welding, both a positive electrode and a negative electrode are first brought into contact with the cooling fan to have the cooling fan held between the axial end face of the rotor core and both the positive and negative electrodes, and then weld current is supplied to flow from the positive electrode to the negative electrode.

  • Publication number: 20100026130
Abstract: An AC alternator for a vehicle has a rotor having a pair of pole cores, and a stator. A plurality of claw magnetic pole parts are formed in the pole cores. A permanent magnet is placed between a pair of the claw magnetic pole parts so as to prevent leakage of magnetic flux through the area between the adjacent claw magnetic pole parts. The stator and the rotor are placed in the AC alternator so that the stator faces the rotor at a spacing of predetermined intervals. Flanges are formed at both sides of each of the claw magnetic pole parts. The presence of the flanges fixes the permanent magnets to the pole cores, and prevents them from moving toward the outer radius direction measured from the rotary shaft of the rotor. In particular, the thickness of each of the flange parts is increased from the front end part to the bottom part thereof.

  • Patent number: 7602759
Abstract: A wireless LAN system if formed by a base station, mobile stations and a controller. The controller receives a frame over wireless media, and a frame analyzer analyzes the received frame. A determination section determines whether or not the frame received at a predicted time based on the rule of frame for a service on a layer higher than a media access control layer is an intended frame based on results from the frame analyzer. A frame transmitter sends out a frame containing a field specifying the duration of the frame to be transmitted to a destination station that should be given the first priority to transmit on a wireless uplink and downlink, based on the determination that the frame received is not in conformity with the rule of frame.

  • Publication number: 20080171623
Abstract: A belt driven mechanism which may be employed to transmit engine torque to an automotive electric rotary accessory such as an alternator. The belt driven mechanism is equipped with bearings disposed between a pulley around which a belt is wound and a torque output rotor. The belt driven mechanism also includes a coil spring mechanism having a length with a first and a second end portion to establish transmission of torque between the pulley and the rotor. Each of the first and second end portion has a plurality of points of attachment to a corresponding one of the pulley and the rotor, thereby distributing a mechanical load acting on the pulley or the rotor into fractions. This avoids local exertion of the load on the bearings, thereby prolonging the service life and ensuring the reliability of operation of the bearings.

  • Patent number: 7328505
Abstract: A multilayer circuit board that has electrodes only on one surface is manufactured as follows. A plurality of conductor layers are formed on a resin film made of thermoplastic resin to form a single-sided conductor layer film. Then, a plurality of via-holes 24, which are bottomed by the conductor layers, are formed in the resin film. Then interlayer connecting material is packed in the via-holes 24 to form a single-sided conductor layer film having the interlayer connecting material. A plurality of single-sided conductor layer films are formed and stacked such that surfaces having the conductor layers face in the same direction. Then, the single-sided conductor layer films are pressed and heated to complete the multilayer circuit board. The multilayer circuit board is formed by using only the single-sided conductor layer films and pressing once, so the manufacturing process is simplified.
