Abstract: Techniques described herein address the above challenges that arise when using host executed software to manage vector databases by providing a vector database accelerator and shard management offload logic that is implemented within hardware and by software executed on device processors and programmable data planes of a programmable network interface device. In one embodiment, a programmable network interface device includes infrastructure management circuitry configured to facilitate data access for a neural network inference engine having a distributed data model via dynamic management of a node associated with the neural network inference engine, the node including a database shard of a vector database.

Abstract: Methods and systems for object detection include generating a negative description for an input image based on a positive description of the input image using a language model. A negative image is generated based on the input image and the negative description by replacing a portion of the input image that is described by the positive description with content that is described by the negative description using a generative image model. An object detection model is trained with the input image, the positive description, the negative description, and the negative image.

Abstract: A fluid treatment device has a treatment unit and a connection head. A detachable bayonet-type connection device connects the connection head and the treatment unit to each other about a connection axis of the treatment device by a housing connection part of the treatment unit and a head connection part of the connection head that operatively engage each other to form the connection of the detachable bayonet-type connection device. A pretension element is provided for realizing a mechanical pretension pressing the connection head and the treatment unit against each other. Abstract: A system for validating the origin information of a data item accesses a data packet that indicates a request to transfer a data item. The data packet is appended with a first header and a second header. The first header comprises information about the sender of the data packet. The second header comprises information about a user device from which the data packet has originated. The system compares the information about the sender of the data packet with previously provided user information and determines that the user information corresponds to the information about the sender. The system communicates a request that indicates whether the information about the user device is valid and receives a message that indicates the information about the user device is valid. In response, the system communicates a message that comprises the data packet and instructions that, upon execution, cause the data packet to be transferred.

Abstract: Aspects presented herein may enable a UE to measure a subset of a bandwidth of PRSs, such that the UE may measure the PRSs without retuning bandwidth. In one aspect, a UE measures at least one quality metric associated with one or more channels for one or more PRSs. The UE receives, from a base station, the one or more PRSs via the one or more channels. The UE measures the one or more PRSs using at least one measuring BW of a plurality of measuring BWs, the plurality of measuring BWs being based on at least one of the measured at least one quality metric meeting a quality metric threshold, a BW for the one or more PRSs being greater than or outside of a BW for an ABWP, or a UE system BW being greater than the BW for the one or more PRSs.

A controller of the electronic device determines dimensions of a front display based on data from a position sensor. The controller presents visual content on the flexible display. In response to a trigger to screen record the visual content, the controller records in media file(s) frame(s) of the front display along with position data of the flexible display support structure. For playback, the controller activates the translation mechanism to match the position data and presents the frame(s) on corresponding portions of the flexible display from which the frame(s) was captured.

Abstract: The present invention provides a video laryngoscope (100) to perform the intubation process. The video laryngoscope (100) includes a handle (10), a blade (20), a display unit (30), and an attachment assembly (25). The handle (10) includes a camera housing (16) with an image sensor (161) and a light source (162) arranged therein. The image sensor (161) is attached to the handle (10) through a camera channel (15) to visualise the path of the endotracheal tube. The camera housing (16) has a deflector (18) to avoid the blurry and distorted visuals generated due to the scattering of the light from the light source (162). The blade (20) is arranged on 10 the handle (10) to cover the handle (10) and the camera channel (15). Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of predicting basal-like breast cancer recurrence in a patient comprising (a) determining the phosphorylation status of at least one protein in a biological sample obtained from the patient; (b) identifying the patient as having a high risk of basal-like breast cancer recurrence if the phosphorylation status of the at least one protein is over-phosphorylated or under-phosphorylated as compared to a control; and (c) optionally administering to the patient a therapeutically effective amount of a chemotherapeutic if the patient is classified as having a high risk of basal-like breast cancer recurrence. Also disclosed herein are methods of treating a patient wherein the patient has been identified as having a high risk of basal-like breast cancer recurrence and kits for use in predicting basal-like breast cancer recurrence and/or prognosing basal-like breast cancer.

Abstract: A compensation system for a crystal oscillator including a DC level comparator, current compensation circuitry, and a compensation controller. The crystal oscillator includes an amplifier with a feedback resistance coupled between first and second terminals of a crystal resonator. The DC level comparator may be a hysteretic comparator that compares a DC level of the first node with a DC level of the second node and to provide a corresponding compensation signal. The compensation controller controls a magnitude and direction of the compensation current applied to the first node by the current compensation circuitry based on the compensation signal. The current compensation circuitry sources current to or sinks current from the first node until the leakage current is minimized. The compensation controller may include a digital counter the generates a digital control value used to activate selected current sources or sinks for developing the compensation current.

Abstract: The disclosure relates to methods of preparing soybean explants. During explant preparation, mature seeds are typically first imbibed in water. Instead of using dry seeds directly for imbibition, the moisture content of the seeds is first partially increased. The provided methods significantly diminish imbibition-caused soybean seed cracking and improve explant viability.

Abstract: The present invention provides a method (300) for operating a video laryngoscope, enhancing usability during endotracheal intubation procedures. The method involves controlling a display unit attached to a laryngoscope handle to present real-time visual data captured by a camera housing located at the distal end of the handle. The display unit automatically adjusts the orientation of the displayed visual data based on the angle of the display unit relative to the handle, ensuring proper alignment during the procedure. The method (300) includes capturing and storing visual data in an integrated memory module, providing clinicians with the ability to review, manage, and capture data through a user-friendly interface. Additionally, the video laryngoscope (100) enables secure connection to external devices for data transfer using password-protected encryption to safeguard patient information.
