    Abstract: A deep state space generative model is augmented with intervention prediction. The state space model provides a principled way to capture the interactions among observations, interventions, critical event occurrences, true states, and associated uncertainty. The state space model can include a discrete-time hazard rate model that provides flexible fitting of general survival time distributions. The state space model can output a joint prediction of event risk, observation and intervention trajectories based on patterns in temporal progressions, and correlations between past measurements and interventions.

    Abstract: Techniques are described for determining weight distribution of a vehicle. A method of performing autonomous driving operation includes receiving two sets of values from two sets of sensors, where a first set of sensors measure weights or pressures applied on axles of a vehicle, and where a second set of sensors measure pressures in tires of the vehicle. The method performs an error detection and removal operation to remove or filter out any erroneous values from the two sets of values to obtain two sets of filtered values. The method determines one or more values that describe a weight or pressure applied on the axle to obtain the weight distribution of the vehicle based on the first set of filtered values or the second set of filtered values. Based on the obtained weight distribution of the vehicle, the method can determine a driving operation of the vehicle.

The beneficial effects of the invention: the operation is simple and it does not need to buy an expensive oscilloscope, the accurate precision of the PLL can be measured without the influence of the crystal.

    Abstract: A machine learning method is described for generating labels for members of a training set where the labels are not directly available in the training set data. In a first stage of the method an iterative process is used to gradually build up a list of features (“partition features” herein) which are conceptually related to the class label using a human-in-the loop (expert). In a second part of the process we generate labels for the members of the training set, build up a boosting model using the labeling to come up with additional partition features, score the labeling of the training set members from the boosting model, and then with the human-in-the-loop evaluate a labels assigned to a small subset of the members depending on their score. The labels assigned to some or all of those members in the subset may be flipped depending on the evaluation. The final outcome of the process is an interpretable model that explains how the labels were generated and a labeled set of training data.
