The antenna includes: multiple feeders, a microstrip antenna array, and at least one energy attenuation circuit; the microstrip antenna array includes multiple array elements, where each of the multiple array elements is connected to a cable feeding port by using one of the multiple feeders; each of the at least one energy attenuation circuit is located at a feeder, where the feeder is one of the multiple feeders and is connected to an array element, and the array element is located at a periphery of the multiple array elements; and the energy attenuation circuit includes a resistor, where the resistor is grounded, and the resistor consumes a part of energy in the feeder when the resistor is grounded.

Abstract: Braking systems and methods are provided for a drum winch system having a winch drum having an outer surface and a winch drum braking system. The winch drum braking system has a first brake having a first brake lining, located adjacent to the winch drum, and a first three-ring ratchet linkage system connected to the first brake lining. The first three-ring ratchet linkage system is rotatable and adapted to move the first brake lining to a first position or a second position with respect to the outer surface of the winch drum. In the first position, the first brake lining contacts the outer surface of the winch drum to apply break force thereon, and, in the second position, the first brake lining is separated from the winch drum.

Abstract: Provided herein are methods and compositions related to a retinoid receptor-selective pathway. As described herein, this pathway can be targeted to manipulate a tumor microenviroment. For example, the methods and compositions described herein can be used to induce apoptosis in a cancer cell. Further, the compositions described herein, including Sulindac and analogs thereof, can be used to target this pathway for the treatment or prevention of cancer in human patients.

Abstract: An excess heat recovery apparatus and process for high temperature chlorine dioxide bleaching of pulp is provided. The pulp of the high temperature chlorine dioxide bleaching stage enters a tube-side of a chlorine dioxide preheater through a pipeline. The low-temperature chlorine dioxide in the storage tank enters a shell-side pipeline of the chlorine dioxide preheater. 0.5 mol/L of a stabilizer may be added during preheating to prevent ClO2 from decomposing during the heating process. Preheated chlorine dioxide is then moved into a pulp mixer and the pH is adjusted to 3.2-3.8. The mixed pulp is then moved into a high temperature chlorine dioxide bleaching tower for bleaching. The cooling pulp, now out of the preheater, is washed in an alkaline extraction stage. The waste water from the washing flows directly into an effluent treatment system and is recycled after treatment.

The size of the multi-frequency array antenna is reduced.

A rights management component determines a set of authorizations of the consumer for respective media content associated with the set of user-generated mediasets, and takes at least one action based on the set of authorizations, e.g., updating one of the mediasets based on the set of authorizations.

The surface is subjected to a beam of energized atoms providing movability to the atoms of the second substance in the surface to allow for a nucleation of a phase separation of a phase, in which the atoms of the second substance are concentrated. Then, an image of a surface pattern originating from the nucleation of the phase separation is taken and stored as a identifier for the original object. When a comparison image of a surface pattern of some object supposed to be the original object is compared to the identifier, the object is confirmed as being the original object, if the surface patterns in the identifier and the comparison image are identical.

Abstract: Systems and methods for attributing a scroll event are described herein. The system can provide, to a client device, an infinite scroll attribution script. The script can cause the client device to set a dimension of an inline frame, embedded with a content document, of an page to a dimension corresponding to a viewport of an application and determine, responsive to detecting a scroll event, that a first offset between a first content document end and a first viewport end is less than or equal to a first predetermined threshold. The script can further cause the client device to determine, responsive to detecting the scroll event, that a second offset between a second content document end and a second viewport end is greater than or equal to a second threshold and assign the scroll event to the inline frame responsive to the determinations of the first and second offsets.

Based on project configuration, a mathematical model of converter station is built, the parameters of equipment components and locations of short circuit are given. The short-circuit current value and the parameters of equipment component are regarded as process parameters during the setting and coordination. The electromagnetic transient simulation is carried out at first in this method. And a specified and standard project of the setting and coordination is formed by abstracting and standardizing the process of the setting and coordination, which makes present setting and coordination of DC transmission engineering independent of the electromagnetic transient simulation software.

Abstract: A system and method provides video recommendations for a target video in a video sharing environment. The system selects one or more videos that are on one or more video playlists together with the target video. The video co-occurrence data of the target video associates the target video and another video on one or more same video playlists and frequency of the target video and another video on the video playlists is computed. Based on the video co-occurrence data of the target video, one or more co-occurrence videos are selected and ranked based on the video co-occurrence data of the target video. The system selects one or more videos from the co-occurrence videos as video recommendations for the target video.

Abstract: Systems and methods for segmenting a video based on user engagement in respective segments of the video are presented. In one or more aspects, a system is provided that includes an engagement component configured to receive information regarding respective engagement of a plurality of users in connection with respective segments of a video. The system further includes an analysis component configured to analyze the information and calculate user engagement scores for the respective video segments, wherein the user engagement scores reflect level of the plurality of users' interest regarding the respective video segments, and an identification component configured to identify a subset of the video segments associated with relatively higher user engagement scores in comparison to other video segments.

One of the methods includes receiving an input comprising a plurality of features of a resource, wherein each feature is a value of a respective attribute of the resource; processing each of the features using a respective embedding function to generate one or more numeric values; processing the numeric values to generate an alternative representation of the features of the resource, wherein processing the floating point values comprises applying one or more non-linear transformations to the floating point values; and processing the alternative representation of the input to generate a respective relevance score for each concept term in a pre-determined set of concept terms, wherein each of the respective relevance scores measures a predicted relevance of the corresponding concept term to the resource.

Abstract: Embodiments disclosed herein provides methods for detecting the presence of a target nucleic acid in a mixture of nucleic acids comprising: performing methylation haplotype analysis on a sample comprising a plurality of nucleic acids; and determining whether said sample includes a methylation haplotype indicative of the presence said target nucleic acid. Embodiments disclosed herein provide methods for detecting tumor in a subject and prenatal detection of fetal chromosomal abnormality using the methods for detecting the presence of a target nucleic acid disclosed herein. Further disclosed are probes and kits for methylation haplotype analysis.
