    Abstract: A phase-change turbo-dissipation cooler comprises a heat extracting apparatus and a heat dissipating apparatus. The heat extracting apparatus includes a closed container having an outlet nozzle and an inlet, the closed container being filled with a liquid of low boiling point. The heat dissipating apparatus includes a chambered body, an air supply tube, a vapor tube, and a condensing tube. The chambered body is provided with a common shaft, a turbine, and a blower. The condensing tube is provided with multiple fins and an expansion valve and connected between the vapor tube and the closed container. The liquid can be vaporized in the closed container by a heat source to blow into the chambered body to rotate the turbine together with the blower and then flow back to the closed container. The blower can suck in ambient air to blow through the fins on the condensing tube to dissipate heat.

Also provided is a method for preparing said dTHG, which comprises steps of 1) extracting and obtaining fucosylated glycosaminoglycan (THG) from the body wall of Thelenota ananas; 2) depolymerizing THG to obtain dTHG by method of peroxide depolymerization or method of peroxide depolymerization catalyzed by catalyst of the fourth period transition metal ions; 3) removing impurities with lower and/or higher molecular weight in dTHG.

The sleeve is provided with plural push grooves in an inner circumferential surface thereof, and there is an angular difference between a rolling passage in the nut and the respective push grooves, and the push grooves cooperate with the rolling elements which pass through the rolling passage. By such arrangements, the push grooves of the sleeve will be pushed by the rolling elements to convert the linear motion into rotary motion, thus making the sleeve rotate.

    Abstract: A method for thinning a wafer is provided. In one embodiment, a wafer is provided having a plurality of semiconductor chips, the wafer having a first side and a second side opposite the first side, wherein each of the chips includes a set of through silicon vias (TSVs), each of the TSVs substantially sealed by a liner layer and a barrier layer. A wafer carrier is provided for attaching to the second side of the wafer. The first side of the wafer is thinned and thereafer recessed to partially expose portions of the liner layers, barrier layers and the TSVs protruding from the wafer. An isolation layer is deposited over the first side of the wafer and the top portions of the liner layers, barrier layers and the TSVs. Thereafter, an insulation layer is deposited over the isolation layer. The insulation layer is then planarized to expose top portions of the TSVs. A dielectric layer is deposited over the planarized first side of the wafer.

    Abstract: A water level and temperature alert device including a temperature sensor, a level sensor, an alert unit, and a computing unit. The computing unit is connected to the temperature sensor, the level sensor, and the alert unit. The level sensor is connected to a first electrode and a second electrode.     Abstract: A semiconductor device having light-emitting diodes (LEDs) formed on a concave textured substrate is provided. A substrate is patterned and etched to form recesses. A separation layer is formed along the bottom of the recesses. An LED structure is formed along the sidewalls and, optionally, along the surface of the substrate between adjacent recesses. In these embodiments, the surface area of the LED structure is increased as compared to a planar surface. In another embodiment, the LED structure is formed within the recesses such that the bottom contact layer is non-conformal to the topology of the recesses. In these embodiments, the recesses in a silicon substrate result in a cubic structure in the bottom contact layer, such as an n-GaN layer, which has a non-polar characteristic and exhibits higher external quantum efficiency.
