    Abstract: In one embodiment, a networking device in a network forms a Wi-Fi association with a node on a first wireless channel. The networking device preforms a passive scan of Wi-Fi Neighbor Awareness Network (NAN) channels and receives a NAN discovery beacon from a NAN via a particular one of the NAN channels during the passive scan. The networking device generates a NAN cluster discovery attribute for the NAN based on the received NAN discovery beacon, and sends the NAN discovery attribute to the node via the first wireless channel, wherein the node uses the NAN discovery attribute to associate with the NAN.

    Abstract: Systems and methods are described that configure network devices to dynamically (1) download privilege setting definitions from an authentication server to address a currently connected set of client devices associated with these privilege setting definitions and (2) clear privilege setting definitions that are no longer in use by client devices connected to the network device. In particular, a network device may determine if a privilege setting definition associated with a successfully authenticated client device is locally available on the network device and request the privilege setting definition from the authentication server when not locally available. In some situations, the authentication server may selectively transmit update messages to network devices that may be affected by an update to a privilege setting definition such that the network devices may request this updated privilege setting definition for download.

A multiple rotor HRSRM comprises at least two rotors each having a plurality of rotor poles and at least two stators having a plurality of stator poles. The at least two rotors and the at least two stators are positioned about a central axis with the stator placed between the rotors. In other embodiments, the number of stators equals the number of rotors and effectively operate as a single stator and rotor. In yet another embodiment, the effective single stator and rotor type high rotor pole switched reluctance machine is realized as single stator and rotor positioned concentrically around a central axis.
