  • Patent number: 10139889
Abstract: A system on a chip (SoC) is provided with a multicore processor, a level-2 (L2) cache controller, an L2 cache, an integrated memory controller, and a serial point-to-point link interface to enable communication between the multicore processor and a device. The interface implements a protocol stack and includes a transmitter to transmit serial data to the device and a receiver to deserialize an incoming serial stream. The protocol stack supports a plurality of power management states, including an active state, a first off state, in which a supply voltage is to be provided to the device, and a second off state, in which the supply voltage is not to be provided to the device. In response to an indication the device is ready to enter the active state, the protocol stack provides for accessing the device prior to expiration of a default recovery time to complete the transition.

  • Patent number: 10142923
Abstract: Examples of the disclosure enable packet data access to be managed. In some examples, a device is coupled to a wireless network using a first access point name (APN). The wireless network includes a first packet data network (PDN) corresponding to the first APN and a second PDN. A request to couple the device to the wireless network using a second APN corresponding to the second PDN is received. When the device is configured to use a single PDN, a first instruction associated with decoupling the device from the wireless network is transmitted to the first PDN, and a second instruction associated with coupling the device to the wireless network using the second APN is transmitted to the second PDN. Aspects of the disclosure enable controlling or restricting packet data access to manage network resources.

  • Publication number: 20180336444
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods and systems for adding content in a page of an electronic document without moving current content to a next page of the electronic document. A first electronic document, a position information of a page of the first electronic document where a new content need to be added, and at least one of the new content and a second electronic document including the new content are received at an MFD. A required space for adding the new content and an available space between lines of the page are estimated. The available space and the required space are compared to check whether the available space is more than the required space. Based on the comparison, the lines of the page are re-positioned, and the new content is added on the page based on the position information to generate an updated first electronic document including the added new content.

  • Publication number: 20180337887
Abstract: Disclosed are various examples for prioritizing application traffic through network tunnels between a client device and a tunnel endpoint. Network traffic is received from each of a plurality of applications executed by the client device. It is determined that the network traffic of a first application of the plurality of applications is associated with a lower priority than the network traffic of a second application of the plurality of applications. A bandwidth allocation to the network traffic of the first application is limited in the encrypted tunnel as compared to a bandwidth al location to the network traffic of the second application in the encrypted tunnel according to the lower priority.
