  • Publication number: 20160218373
Abstract: A plurality of batteries is printed on a flexible substrate, where each battery may output the same voltage, such as about 1.5 volts. Batteries in a first subset are connectable in parallel by controllable switches to control the maximum current that can be delivered to a load. Batteries in a second subset are also connectable in parallel by additional controllable switches to control the maximum current that can be delivered to the load. Another group of switches can either connect the two subsets of batteries in series, to generate 3 volts, or connect the subsets in parallel to increase the maximum current. Additional subsets of batteries and their associated switches may be further connected to increase the voltage and current. The power supply may be standardized and configured by the user for a particular load, such as a sensor for a medical skin patch.

  • Publication number: 20160203021
Abstract: Generally discussed herein are techniques, software, apparatuses, and systems configured for managing a navigation stack of an application including multiple primary user interfaces (UIs). In one or more embodiments, a method can include providing data to multiple primary UIs that causes each of the multiple primary UIs to present a view of a plurality of views of an application state of the software application, receiving data indicating the application state of the application has changed, and pushing a workflow activity of the application onto a navigation stack, wherein each workflow activity includes data corresponding to a configuration of a view model module and a list of views associated with the configuration, the view model module provides the data that causes the plurality of views to be presented on the multiple primary UIs in response to the configuration being loaded on in the view model module.

  • Patent number: 9391867
Abstract: A device for instrumentation and traffic disposition of a network using one or more time-stamps may include a receiving port to receive a data packet. A device configuration module may be configured to determine whether the device is a boundary device located on a boundary of an instrumented sub-network of the network. If the determination is made that device is the boundary device, a frame processing module may insert a first time-stamp at a first offset from a frame checksum (FCS) field in a data frame associated with the data packet. Otherwise, a corresponding time-stamp may be inserted at a second offset from the FCS field. The one or more time-stamps may enable a receiving endpoint device of the network to determine timeliness information associated with the data packet.

  • Patent number: 9380744
Abstract: A header lift assembly for an agricultural harvester includes a lift cylinder and a lock assembly. The lift cylinder includes a sleeve and a piston, and the piston is configured to move in an axial direction relative to the sleeve. The lock assembly is coupled to the lift cylinder and is configured to automatically transition to a first locking position upon extension of the piston in the axial direction to a locking distance from the sleeve. The first locking position is configured to block retraction of the piston in the axial direction beyond a first distance from the sleeve. The lock assembly is also configured to automatically disengage from the first locking position to a unlocked position that facilitates retraction of the piston beyond the first distance upon extension of the piston to an unlocking distance.
