Abstract: An information handling system (IHS) docking system includes an IHS chassis defining an alignment member passageway and an IHS connector opening. An IHS connector is movably coupled to the IHS chassis adjacent the IHS connector opening and resiliently biased into a retracted orientation. An alignment member securing device is moveably coupled to the IHS chassis adjacent the alignment member passageway and resiliently biased into a non-securing orientation. At least one docking actuator is located in the alignment passageway and coupled to the IHS connector and alignment member securing device. When the IHS chassis is docked with a docking station including a docking connector and an alignment member, the alignment member engages the at least one docking actuator to move the IHS connector relative to the IHS chassis to mate with the docking connector, and move the alignment member securing device relative to the IHS chassis to engage the alignment member.

  • Publication number: 20160004410
Abstract: A system for processing cursor movements for predictive fetching includes a notification server, a notification client module, and a movement processing and predictive fetching module. The notification server is coupled to other systems to receive notification information. The notification client module is coupled to retrieve notification information from the notification server. The movement processing and predictive fetching module is configured to capture and detect cursor movements on a client device. The movement processing and predictive fetching module determines the direction and deceleration of the cursor. If the movement is decelerating and in the direction of the notification button on the user interface, the movement processing and predictive fetching module generates a signal for the notification client module to pre-fetch notification information from the notification server.

  • Publication number: 20150379236
Abstract: A critical access override list may be generated dynamically based on patient profile information for a single patient or a group of patients. A single patient or group of patients is initially identified. Patient profile information for the patient or group of patients is accessed. The patient profile information is analyzed, and medications are selected for critical access override. The selected medications are added to a critical access override list available to a medication dispensing apparatus to provide quicker access to the medications for emergency situation purposes via critical access override dispensing in which fewer steps are performed than normal medication dispensing events.

Abstract: Embodiments of the disclosure can include MapReduce systems and methods with integral mapper and reducer compute runtime environments. An example system with an integral reducer compute runtime environment can include mappers and reducers executable on a computer cluster. The mappers can be operable to receive raw input data and generate first input data based on the raw input data. The mappers can be operable to generate first result data based on the first input data. Based on the first result data, the mappers can be operable to generate (K, V) pairs. The reducers can be operable to receive the (K, V) pairs and generate second input data based on the (K, V) pairs. The reducers can be operable to transmit the second input data to integral compute runtime environment being run within the reducers and operable to generate second result data based on the second input data. Based on the second result data, the reducers can be operable to generate output data.
