  • Publication number: 20250056126
Abstract: Proposed are schemes, solutions, concepts, designs, methods and systems pertaining to aiding and/or improving image acquisition from a vibratory personal care device having an image capture device. Embodiments propose controlling an exposure parameter of the image capture device based on a parameter of the periodic vibration waveform. Through control of an exposure parameter of the image capture device, improved images (e.g. images exhibiting less blur and/or distortion) may be obtained. In this way, improved images may be obtained from a vibratory personal care device.

Abstract: A system is provided for monitoring properties of oral soft tissues. An oral monitoring head comprises at least one sensing element such as a probe which can be provided among cleaning bristles. A tapping motion is imparted to the at least one sensing element and the force or strain or motion associated with the at least one sensing element is monitored to produce a force or strain or motion signal. • Patent number: 12216827
Abstract: Method for generating haptic feedback responses starts with processor causing communication interface for communication session to be displayed on first user interface and on a second user interface. Processor detects first touch input on first user interface and second touch input on second user interface. Processor monitors location of the first touch input on the first user interface and location of the second touch input on the second user interface. Processor determines distance between location of first touch input on first user interface and location on first user interface corresponding to location of second touch input on second user interface. Processor causes the first user interface and the second user interface to generate a haptic feedback response based on the distance. The haptic feedback response increases in intensity or speed as the distance decreases and decreases in intensity or speed as the distance increases. Other embodiments are described herein.

  • Patent number: 12216823
Abstract: Method for generating haptic feedback responses starts with processor causing communication interface for communication session to be displayed on first user interface and on a second user interface. Processor detects first touch input on first user interface. Processor causes second user interface to display first indicator element at location on second user interface of second client device corresponding to location of first touch input on first user interface. First indicator element is displayed for a predetermined period of time. Processor detects second touch input on second user interface. In response to determining that location of the second touch input on second user interface corresponds to location of first indicator on second user interface and determining that second touch input on second user interface is detected within predetermined period of time, processor causes first user interface and second user interface to generate haptic feedback response. Other embodiments are described herein.

Abstract: An audio apparatus comprises an audio capturer (201) forming a plurality of audio beams and generating an audio capture signal for each of a plurality of audio beams. A beam stearer (203) steers each audio beam towards a different audio source. An analyzer (211) analyzes at least a first audio capture signal to determine speech properties for audio of the first audio capture signal. A categorizer (213) determines a speaker category out of a plurality of speaker categories for the first audio capture signal in response to the speech properties. An audio generator (205) generates an audio output signal by combining audio capture signals including the first audio capture signal. An adapter (215) is arranged to adapt the first audio output signal in response to the first speaker category. For example, some audio for some speaker categories may be fully or partially muted in the audio output signal.

  • Patent number: 12207922
Abstract: Provided is a method of determining a concentration (Ca) of a first analyte (a) in sweat excreted by a first sweat gland type at a first skin location (i) having the first sweat gland type and a second sweat gland type. The method comprises measuring a first concentration (I) of the first analyte in sweat excreted at the first skin location and measuring at least one parameter of sweat excreted by the second sweat gland type at a second skin location (ii) having the second sweat gland type but not the first sweat gland type. The at least one parameter is used to determine a dilution factor (II) which quantifies dilution of the first analyte by sweat excreted by the second sweat gland type at the first skin location. This dilution factor (II) is then used to correct the first concentration (I) so as to determine the concentration (Ca). Further provided is an apparatus (100) for determining the concentration (Ca).

  • Patent number: 12193843
Abstract: An on-body sensing system (30) comprises a plurality of skin interface elements for coupling electrical signals to and from the body. The system is adapted to derive an indication of a position of at least one positionable interface unit (32) based on transmission of signals between the positionable unit and a set of spatially separated reference units (34), the reference units being positioned at a set of known locations on the body. Transmitted signals are sensed at multiple pairs (52) of electrodes on each reference unit and signal characteristics derived for each pair, and based on this a direction of arrival of the signal determined. By collating all of the measured arrival angles, and by reference to a reference dataset containing information indicative of known signal arrival angles when signals are transmitted internally between the reference units themselves, an indication of position of the positionable unit is derived.
