  • Publication number: 20210158328
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments may enable synchronization of a display of a mobile computing device with a display of an ATM. The displays first may be synched when a user positions the mobile computing device in proximity to the ATM. Near field communication (NFC) initially may be used when the mobile phone is in proximity with the ATM. Once the communication connection has been realized, the displays may be synchronized to reflect the connection. After the NFC connection has been realized, a cellular connection between a user's mobile computing device with a server having a secure connection with the ATM may be established. One or more financial transactions may be initiated with the ATM from the mobile computing device via the cellular connection. The display of the mobile computing device and the ATM may remain synched during the one or more financial transactions.

  • Patent number: 10984414
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on computer storage media, for associating payment information from a payment transaction with a user account. One of the methods includes receiving an indication of a payment transaction between a customer and a merchant, wherein the payment transaction is associated with payment information. A customer parameter that identifies an account with the payment service system is received. If the customer has consented to associate the payment information with the account of the payment service system based on receiving the customer parameter that identifies the account with the payment service system, the account is identified based on the received customer parameter, and the payment information is associated with the identified account of the payment service system.

  • Publication number: 20210000556
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for robotic assisted surgery. A robotic system includes a localizer, at least one controller, and a surgical robotic manipulator which separately and detachably receives an energy applicator and an implant insertion tool that detachably receives an implant specifically for knee, hip or shoulder replacement surgery. The at least one controller determines a location within a portion of a patient's anatomy in which to form a cavity for the implant. The surgical robotic manipulator is controlled to form the cavity with the energy applicator. The surgical robotic manipulator is then controlled to insert the implant into the cavity with the implant insertion tool.

  • Patent number: 10806529
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for robotic assisted surgery. A robotic system includes a localizer, a surgical robotic manipulator, an end effector configured to be removably coupled to the manipulator, and a controller. The controller is configured to receive signals from the localizer, determine a final position of a cavity creation tool used to penetrate a portion of a patient's anatomy based on the signals received from the localizer, and determine an implant insertion path for an implant to be inserted into a final implant position within the portion of the patient's anatomy, wherein the final implant position corresponds to the final position of the cavity creation tool. The controller is also configured to move the end effector with the implant coupled thereto such that the implant moves along the implant insertion path, and terminate the movement of the end effector when the implant reaches the final implant position.

  • Publication number: 20200213197
Abstract: A node includes a firmware application that analyzes sensor data to detect and respond to events associated with the distribution of resources. During execution, the firmware application reads a configuration file that specifies a set of conditions and different actions that should be performed in response to different events associated with those conditions. The configuration file can be dynamically updated during execution of the firmware application to modify the set of conditions the firmware application evaluates and the different actions to be performed when occurrences of specific events are detected. Accordingly, the operational behavior of the node can be modified without needing the node to undergo a firmware update.

  • Patent number: 10690253
Abstract: A control valve includes a valve body having a main valve passageway. A flow control assembly is positioned in the main valve passageway and includes a first control element, and a second control element rotatable relative to the first control element between a closed position, a first position, and a second position. In the closed position, the first and second control elements form a plug which prevents fluid flow through the main valve passageway. In the first position, the first and second control elements collectively define a first control passageway therethrough, and in the second position, the first and second control elements collectively define the first control passageway and a second control passageway therethrough.

  • Publication number: 20200164739
Abstract: A vehicle transaxle comprising a plurality of mounting flanges fixedly mountable to an axle tube of the vehicle absent any additional structure for mounting the transaxle to the vehicle. The axle tube houses a wheel axle to which the transaxle is operably couplable.
