  • Patent number: 11946478
Abstract: There is provided a fan assembly comprising a motor-driven impeller arranged to generate an airflow, an air outlet arranged to emit the airflow, a plurality of sensors arranged to measure a value for each of a plurality of air quality characteristics, a display and a processor. The processor is configured to receive measured values for each of the plurality of air quality characteristics, identify one of a corresponding set of intervals within which the measured value falls and select an air quality index value associated with the identified interval. The processor is then configured to identify the highest of the selected air quality index values as a current overall air quality index value and to cause the display to display a time series plot of the current air quality index value and a number of preceding air quality index values.

  • Patent number: 11631267
Abstract: A tiered processing scheme for processing image data is provided. A method can include obtaining image data indicative of one or more court judgment(s) with a number of features. The method can include obtaining judgment information from the image data by applying a number of image processing techniques in accordance with a processing hierarchy tailored to the image data. The image data can be classified by a machine-learning model and the processing hierarchy can be determined based on the classification. The processing hierarchy balances the computing resources used by a respective technique with the accuracy afforded by the technique when applied to image data with a respective classification. A computing system can utilize the processing hierarchy to leverage different image processing techniques in a tiered processing scheme tailored to image data.

  • Patent number: 11204064
Abstract: The present invention provides an adjustable bearing assembly comprising a first bar and a second bar. The first bar comprises a first engagement surface which is configured to engage with a second engagement surface on the second bar. The first bar further comprises a bearing surface opposite the first engagement surface. One of the first or second engagement surfaces comprises a first plurality of teeth aligned in a first direction, wherein the plurality of teeth are configured to engage a plurality of inclined surfaces on the other of the first or second engagement surfaces such that a force applied to the second bar in the first direction causes the distance between the bearing surface and the second bar to vary.
