  • Publication number: 20140007560
Abstract: An exhaust gas purifying system for an internal combustion engine has a relatively simple construction and is capable of accurately calculating the amount of SOx deposited on a NOx catalyst. A CO2 sensor having a detection electrode containing BaCO3 is disposed in an intake pipe at a location downstream of a confluent portion. A catalyst SOx deposition amount is calculated according to an EGR rate and a sensor deposition amount, based on the fact that the relationship between the sensor deposition amount detected by the CO2 sensor and the catalyst SOx deposition amount is determined according to the EGR rate.

  • Patent number: 8602680
Abstract: A vibrating plate comprises a vibration generator device, which can be controlled in such a manner that the direction of the action of force can be set at a number of locations, particularly in more than two locations. In addition, an advance adjusting device is provided for controlling the vibration generator device whereby the direction of the action of force is set in a position in which a maximum possible advance of the vibrating plate is reached. The direction of the action of force can be changed according to a change in the surroundings of the vibrating plate, particularly to the slope and/or the hardness of a subsoil to be compacted by a soil contact plate. Alternatively, the direction of the action of force can be changed according to the wishes of the operator.

  • Patent number: 8591358
Abstract: The aim of the invention is to improve a belt tensioner for a belt drive of an internal combustion engine, having a central bearing device which serves to define a pivot axis for the belt tensioning arm, and having a bearing sleeve which is connected to the tensioning arm, wherein the bearing device extends through the bearing sleeve and the bearing sleeve is mounted in a friction-damping manner by means of a plain bearing arrangement, so as to be pivotable about the bearing device, with said improvement being such that a good function of the belt tensioner is maintained despite a simplification of the design and a reduction in differently designed parts. Said problem is solved by means of a generic belt tensioner for a belt drive of an internal combustion engine, in which the plain bearing arrangement has at least two opposite sliding faces which have the same material.

  • Patent number: 8567607
Abstract: A folding box with a blister pack held therein is produced from a one-piece blank, having a first tab which starts integrally from a narrow side wall and in the use position inside the folding box rises obliquely inwards from this edge toward the opposite wall and is supported resiliently against the latter. A second tab is bent back from the support point of the first tab and in the use position comes to lie between the first wall and the first tab or the second wall, and in turn carries at its edge a locking tab which in the use position engages in a hinged fashion between two blister cavities or cavity rows arranged one behind the other in the insertion direction, and thereby secures the blister pack in locking fashion without the need for beads or other deformations that affect the surface on the folding box.
