  • Publication number: 20170241825
Abstract: A fill level measuring device designed for the generation and emission of a transmission signal, wherein the transmission signal includes at least one frequency ramp. In order to determine the level of a filling material in a vessel, only frequencies within a fundamental frequency interval are used. In this case, the minimal frequency of the fundamental frequency interval is greater than the minimal frequency of the frequency ramp and/or the maximal frequency of the fundamental frequency interval is smaller than the maximal frequency of the frequency ramp. The approach provides a reduction of power peaks in the frequency spectrum of the mean power of fill level measuring devices, which peaks result from times in which the fill level measuring device emits a constant frequency before the beginning of or after a frequency ramp.

  • Publication number: 20170227432
Abstract: A testing device for testing the mechanical integrity of a hollow breakable item includes a squeezable element to radially abut with a sidewall portion of the breakable item. The testing device further includes a sleeve extending in an axial direction to receive the sidewall portion of the breakable item and having a first contact surface to axially engage with the squeezable element. The testing device also includes a plunger displaceable in axial direction relative to the sleeve and having a second contact surface to axially engage with the squeezable element. The squeezable element is axially squeezable by a relative displacement of plunger and sleeve to increase the squeezable element's radial expansion and to apply radially directed pressure to the breakable item's sidewall portion.

  • Publication number: 20170016754
Abstract: A FMCW fill level sensor comprising an equaliser that equalizes the intermediate frequency signal digitalised by an analogue-digital converter. Equalising is carried out, for example, in the form of convoluting the digitalised intermediate frequency signal by an equalising function in the time domain. It is also possible to equalise the digitalised intermediate frequency signal by multiplying the signal by an equalising function in the form of a transfer function G(?k) to form the discrete frequency in the frequency domain. A digital filter can also be used. This can increase the accuracy with which the fill level is determined.

  • Patent number: 9541047
Abstract: A system, which is used in particular as a fuel injection system for the high-pressure injection in internal combustion engines, includes a fuel distributor and a plurality of fuel injectors. Each fuel injector is situated on a cup of the fuel distributor. At least one of the fuel injectors is fastened to the associated cup by a holding element, which has a supporting surface. The cup has a contact surface on an underside, by way of which the cup is supported at the supporting surface of the holding element by a damping layer. The holding element is attached to the cup. In addition, the fuel injector has a collar, which is braced on the holding element. Because of the damping layer, vibrations are able to be dampened, and the noise transmissions is able to be reduced.
