  • Patent number: 9278712
Abstract: A method for determining a cutting trajectory that enables a curve section of a lane to be cut by a vehicle. In the method, information about the curve section is received, and the curve section is divided into at least one curve segment having a segment length and a start curvature, the curve segment being a straight-line segment or a circular arc segment or a curve segment whose curvature is a function of an arc length of the curve segment. This is followed by determination of a cutting trajectory from the at least one curve segment, so that, at a specific point of the curve section, the cutting trajectory has a predetermined offset relative to a center of the lane.

  • Patent number: 9272407
Abstract: A percussion tool has a cooling air channel for guiding a cooling air flow from a cooling air fan to an outside wall of a cylinder of an internal combustion engine. The cooling air channel is tapered to the extent that partial cooling air flows guided between the respective cooling fins are branched off the main cooling air flow. In such a way, the flow rate of the cooling air flow in the cooling air channel remains substantially constant, resulting in optimized engine cooling. The cooling air channel may be divided into two cooling air channels downstream of the cylinder. One of the cooling air channels guides cooling air to an exhaust gas system of the internal combustion engine, while the other cooling air channel guides cooling air to an outside wall of the guide housing of a hammer mechanism.

  • Publication number: 20160054166
Abstract: To determine an echo curve using a fill level measurement device operating according to the FMCW principle, the echo curve is calculated from corresponding sampling values at a first resolution. After this, a particular portion of the echo curve is calculated at a second, higher resolution using the DTFT algorithm. This can reduce the complexity required for calculating the echo curve.

  • Publication number: 20150330405
Abstract: Conventionally, turbocharger bearing housings are cast, and then oil passageways are drilled or bored into the casting. As a result, bores are limited to straight lines extending from drill access points. Greater design flexibility is provided by pre-staging in a mold a collection of metal pipes which will define one or more of oil, air and water galleries, and then casting a bearing housing around the pipes. This provides almost unlimited freedom in shaping and locating the oil bores and other features.

The deflector assembly includes a face portion with an upper canopy and a lower canopy disposed about the face portion. The sprinkler is mounted to one of the walls to define a ceiling-to-deflector distance ranging from about four inches to about twelve inches. The fluid supply at the inlet is at least at one of a substantially constant flow rate of fluid and substantially constant fluid pressure. The deflector assembly distributes the fluid over the coverage area so as to wet the vertical walls within about twenty-eight inches of the ceiling over the ceiling-to-deflector range.

  • Patent number: 9140258
Abstract: A gear machine includes two externally intermeshing gear wheels enclosed by a housing that has a high-pressure connection and a low-pressure connection situated opposite one another. On an inner circumferential face of the housing, a notional boundary line is assigned to both gear wheels. The line runs parallel to the line of contact between the gear tooth tips of the gear wheels and the inner circumferential face. The intersection edge is located between the two boundary lines and the minimum distance between the intersection edge and the boundary lines are at least one pitch interval of the gear wheels. The cross sectional shape of the low-pressure connection deviates from the circular shape such that its cross sectional area overlapping the gear wheels is greater than the cross sectional area of a notional, circular low-pressure connection overlapping the gear wheels at the same minimum distance from the boundary lines.
