Abstract: A hydrocarbon emulsion treatment system includes a treatment tank having a gas vent for operating the treatment tank near atmospheric pressure. The treatment tank separates water and oil in the emulsion for discharge to separate water and oil tanks respectively. According to a preferred embodiment, the treatment tank and the oil tank are supported on a common frame including an integral secondary containment structure providing secondary containment to both the treatment tank and the oil tank. The treatment tank is supported at greater elevation than the oil tank to allow the flow of oil from the treatment tank to the oil tank primarily under force of gravity.

Abstract: An apparatus includes at least one computer readable storage medium that bears instructions executable by a processor to configure the processor for accessing one or more electronically stored calendars of events pertaining to at least one user to obtain first calendar information from the one or more electronically stored calendars. The instructions also configure the processor for accessing at least one social network service for which the user has an account to obtain second calendar information from the site, consolidating the first and second calendar information to render consolidated information, presenting at least some of the consolidated information on a user device associated with the user, and presenting a recommendation for action pertaining to the event along with at least one event in die consolidated information.

The instructions also configure the processor for providing an indication that the biometric conforms to the first health parameter in response to determining that the user's biometric conforms to the first health parameter, and providing a recommendation for conforming to the first health parameter in response to determining that the user's biometric does not conform to the first health parameter.

Abstract: A method for improving privacy of security cameras is described. In one embodiment, predetermined events are monitored via a security camera. The security camera may include an optical barrier. At least one of the predetermined events is detected via the security camera. Based on detecting at least one of the predetermined events, the optical barrier is repositioned, via the security camera, in relation to a camera lens of the security camera.

Abstract: Methods and systems are described for controlling settings of an automation system, such as a home and/or business automation system. According to at least one embodiment, an apparatus for controlling settings of an automation system includes a processor, a memory in electronic communication with the processor, and instructions stored in the memory which are executable by a processor to receive instructions from a user of a home automation system about an intended action by the user, continuously detect behavior of the user with the home automation system, determine whether the intended action has occurred based on the detected behavior, and adaptively update one or more settings of the home automation system when the intended action is determined to have occurred.

List items may be associated with suggested automation rules, notification rules, or both. The list of rule items may include items associated with a property context or an external condition context. Items may be included in the list based, at least in part, on the current property context, the current external condition context, or both. In some instances, the system may be communicatively coupled to a third-party information service.

Responsive to a determination that the first user is not authorized to access the first content, the request for first content is denied. Responsive to a determination that the first user is authorized to access the first content, a first device is identified that the first user is authorized to use and that can present the first content.

Abstract: A method to manage caregiver costs in a health care facility may include allowing selection of a patient or group of patients for analyzing care costs and allowing selection of a set of parameters related to services provided to the patient or group of patients by the health care facility. The method may also include collecting patient data associated with the selected patient or group of patients based on the set of parameters. The method may additionally include determining at least one of patient acuity, location within the health care facility and caregiver attributes for the selected patient or group of patients based on the patient data and determining care costs based on at least one of the patient acuity, location, and caregiver attributes for the patient or group of patients. The method may further include presenting a care costs report to a user to manage costs within the health care facility.

The terminals lie at a precisely controlled height above the front surface of the wafer element. The terminals may include projecting posts which extend above a surrounding solder mask layer to facilitate engagement with a test fixture. The posts are immersed within solder joints when the structure is bonded to a circuit panel.
